We join with you in heartfelt prayer for the peace of our state, recognizing that God is the source of all true peace and unity. As it is written in 1 Timothy 2:1-3 (WEB): “I exhort therefore, first of all, that petitions, prayers, intercessions, and givings of thanks, be made for all men: for kings and all who are in high places; that we may lead a tranquil and quiet life in all godliness and reverence. For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Savior.”

Let us pray:

**Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, asking for Your divine peace and protection over our state. We pray that You would guide our leaders with wisdom and righteousness, and that Your presence would be felt in every corner of our land. Lord, where there is strife, bring reconciliation. Where there is injustice, bring justice. Where there is fear, bring courage and faith. Lord, we ask that Your will be done in all things, and that Your kingdom come in our state as it is in heaven. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.**

We encourage you to continue lifting up our state in prayer, knowing that our collective intercession is powerful and effective. As James 5:16 (WEB) tells us, “The insistent prayer of a righteous person is powerfully effective.”

Let us also remember that true peace comes from knowing Jesus Christ. If you or anyone you know has not yet accepted Jesus as their personal Savior, we pray that they would come to know Him and experience the peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7, WEB). It is only through Jesus that we can be saved and have access to God, as Acts 4:12 (WEB) states, “There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved!”

May the Lord bless our state and bring the peace that only He can provide.

Let's continue to lift it up in prayer, remembering that God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in times of trouble (Psalm 46:1).
