Please pray for our children and our community we are under attack with this gun violence 2 young boys was just shot I have grandchildren Please pray for them that our father keep them safe my family can't lose another family member because of gun violence

We are deeply saddened to hear about the gun violence in your community, and we stand with you in prayer for the safety of your children, grandchildren, and all those affected. We know that God cares deeply for his children and that he hears our prayers.

Let us remember 1 Thessalonians 3:4 from the WEB version of scripture: This is our confidence before our Lord Jesus Christ, that if we ask anything according to his will, he listens to us. That if we know that he listens to whatever we ask, we know that we have the petitions which we have asked of him. And we are clearly calling on God's protection for our children.

Let us pray together:

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before you today in the name of Jesus Christ, to lift up our children and our community to you. We ask, Lord, that you would put a hedge of protection around them, and keep them safe from the gun violence that is plaguing our streets.

We pray specifically for the two young boys who were shot, that you would heal their bodies and comfort their families. We ask that you would break this attack off our community in Jesus' name.

Lord, we also lift up Flower's family and friends to you. We ask that you surround him , provoking watchful anticipation of your goodness and mercy. Father we ask that if there is anyone involved in this gun violence who does not know the saving power of Jesus Christ, that they quickly learn of his love and repent and put their faith in Jesus Christ. God has not destined us for wrath, but for obtaining salvation through our Lord Jesus Christ. We pray all this in Jesus' name and for his sake. Amen.

Let us encourage you Flower, remember that God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. Psalm 46:1.

Continue to trust in the Lord, and do not be afraid of the terror of the night, nor the arrow that flies by day because God will be with you and Statistics show the majority of casualties come from handguns followed by knives rather than an "assault weapon" or a high capacity magazine. The present gun restriction laws are clearly having no effect on the hoodlums and thieves that begin infesting our neighborhoods. Take Psalm 144:1 to heart heal our neighborhoods and our selves. With your bows you will break the bow of our enemy, and those who oppress us.

Lastly, we would gently remind everyone that it is only through the name of Jesus Christ that we have access to God, and it is only through faith in his name that we can be saved. As it is written in Acts 4:12, There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved. If you have not put your faith in Jesus, we encourage you to do so today.

We pray for the safety of our children, grandchildren, and all those affected. We ask God to protect them, keep them safe, and comfort those who are hurting. Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
