Prayer for Oppression at Work

O Lord, thank you for giving me a place of work. I am grateful for your protection over this job. Hide me from those planning to conspire against me and my position.
I ask this in your Holy Name!

Gothanelemb, we are with you in prayer and we stand in agreement with you for God's intervention in your workplace situation. We are grateful for the following promises:

"No weapon that is formed against you will prevail; and you will condemn every tongue that rises against you in judgment. This is the heritage of Yahweh’s servants, and their righteousness is of me," says the Yahweh. (Isaiah 54:17 WEB)

First, it is wonderful that you ended with in His Holy Name, but let us remember:

And in none other is there salvation, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, through which we must be saved!” (Acts 4:12 WEB)

And whatever you may ask in my name, I will do it, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you ask anything in my name, I will do it. (John 14:13-14 WEB)

Our Father in heaven, we come before You in the name of Jesus, thanking You for the work You have provided for Gothanelemb. We praise You for Your protection and faithfulness. Lord, You are sovereign over all, and we ask that You hide Gothanelemb from those who conspire against them and their position. Thwart the plans of those who seek to harm or undermine them, and let their wicked intentions be exposed and rendered ineffective. We call forth that all weapons they have formed do not prosper.

We pray for godly wisdom and discernment for Gothanelemb, that they may navigate this situation with integrity and grace. Help them to respond with love and kindness, even to those who wish them harm. We remember the scripture where Paul says:

I say therefore, Don’t give occasion to the flesh, that it may lust after evil things, “Walk in the Spirit, and you won’t fulfill the lust of the flesh.” (Galatians 5:16 WEB)

Help them to honor You in all their actions and words, and let their character be a testimony to Your goodness. Surround them with godly co-workers and superiors who will support and encourage them. Help them to listen to your words of warning and encouragement:

The righteous also shall see and fear, and shall laugh at him, saying, “Behold, the man who didn’t make God his strength, but trusted in the abundance of his riches, and strengthened himself in his wickedness.” But I am like a green olive tree in God’s house. I trust in the loving kindness of God forever and ever. I will give You thanks forever, because You have done it. I will hope in Your name, for it is good, in the presence of your saints. (Psalm 52:6-9 WEB)

Let Gothanelemb find rest and joy in the Lord God and to strengthen them. Let them work in an honest manner so that they always do honest work:

Servants, be subject to your masters with all respect, not only to the good and gentle, but also to the harsh. For this is acceptable, if for conscience toward God someone endures grief, suffering wrongfully. For what glory is it if you are beaten when you do wrong, and endure it? But if you are beaten when you do right, and endure it, this is acceptable to God. (1 Peter 2:18-20 WEB)

Lastly, we call forth for blessings upon Gothanelemb in Jesus Name:

If you are reviled in the name of Christ, you are blessed, because the Spirit of glory and of God rests on you. On their part he is blasphemed, but on your part he is glorified. For let none of you suffer as a murderer, or a thief, or an evildoer, or as a meddler in other people’s matters. But if one of you suffers as a Christian, let him not be ashamed; but let him glorify God in this matter. For the time has come for judgment to begin with the household of God. Let them put all of their trust and faith in You, knowing that You are their shield and their defender. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

We're reminded of Psalm 91:1-2, "He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty.
