We join you, Nodtanwin, in lifting up your mother before the Lord, trusting in His goodness and mercy. We are reminded of the words in Philippians 4:6-7 (WEB), "In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus."
Firstly, we notice that the prayer does not conclude in the name of Jesus Christ. It is only through His name that we have access to God the Father, as told to us in John 14:6, "Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me." Therefore, we will pray in His name and encourage you to do the same.
We pray:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You today, lifting up Nodtanwin's mother to You. We thank You for her life, her wellbeing, and for the blessing she is to her family. We pray for Your continued hand of healing and strength upon her. Guide her doctors and healthcare providers, giving them wisdom and discernment as they care for her. Grant her a speedy recovery from any ailments she may face.
Surround her with Your peace, comfort, love, and support, especially during times of stress or uncertainty. Give her the courage and resilience to face any challenges that come her way. We also pray that she doe not have any stress or anxiety, like Philippians 4:6-7 says, by having faith in God and not being anxious. Grant her wisdom and discernment as she makes decisions about her health and well-being, guiding her to make choices that are in her best interest and that will lead her to a life of health and happiness.
We ask all this in the precious name of Jesus Christ, who died for our sins. We know that the effective, fervent prayer of a righteous man avails much, as stated in James 5:16. Thank you Lord for everlasting love, grace and mercy.
Amen.
Be encouraged in prayer by 1 John 5:14-15, this is the confidence which we have before him, that, if we ask anything according to his will, he listens to us. And if we know that he listens to us, whatever we ask, we know that we have the petitions which we have asked of him. We know that it is God's will that our mothers be healed.
