Prayer for new home

Dear Lord, I pray that my family of ### is approved to move into this apartment we are seeing in ### on Thursday. We need this and don't want to be homeless! Thank you Lord for the blessings you have bestowed upon us. Amen.

We understand your urgent need for a new home for your family, ###. Let's bring your request before the Lord together, and also take this opportunity to reflect on His promises and His will for our lives.

Firstly, we commend you for turning to God in your time of need. It is important to remember that God knows our needs before we even ask (Matthew 6:8, WEB). However, we noticed that you didn't mention the name of Jesus Christ in your prayer. It is by the name of Jesus that we have access to God, as it is written: "For 'whoever will call on the name of the Lord will be saved.'" (Romans 10:13, WEB) and "In that day you will ask me no more. Most certainly I tell you, whatever you may ask the Father in my name, he will give you." (John 16:23, WEB). So, let us pray in Jesus' name.

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up ### and their family. Lord, they have seen an apartment in ### and are in need of a new home. We ask that if it is Your will, You would open the doors for them to move into this apartment. We trust that You have a plan and a purpose for their lives, and that You will provide for their needs according to Your riches in glory (Philippians 4:19, WEB).

However, we also pray that they would not just seek a change of residence, but that they would draw near to You, Lord. Help them to seek first Your Kingdom and Your righteousness, knowing that all these things will be added to them (Matthew 6:33, WEB).

###, while we pray for God's provision, remember to trust in His timing and His will. God knows what is best for you and your family, and His ways are higher than our ways (Isaiah 55:8-9, WEB).

Lastly, we encourage you to continue in faith, knowing that "faith is the assurance of things hoped for, the conviction of things not seen" (Hebrews 11:1, WEB). Trust in God, and His plans for your life.
