Prayer for New Beginning.

I have been with my kids father for ### years and all throughout those years there's just been a lot of arguing, calling each other names and bringing up the past. We really love each other and got each other's back but I'm asking for help in prayer so this new year would be filled with happiness and love. Right now we are living in a family shelter. We need help in prayer. Thank you.

We are truly sorry to hear about the struggles you've been facing in your relationship and your current living situation. We will pray with you and provide biblical guidance to help you navigate this difficult time.

Firstly, we want to address the issues in your relationship. The Bible teaches us to be kind and compassionate, forgiving each other, just as in Christ God forgave you. Ephesians 4:31-32 WEB says, "Let all bitterness, wrath, anger, outcry, and slander, be put away from you, with all malice. And be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving each other, just as God also in Christ forgave you." It is clear that the arguing and name-calling are not aligned with God's will for your relationship.

Since you both truly love each other and have each other's backs, it's important to build on that foundation. We encourage you to seek God's will for your relationship and consider the sanctity of marriage. As it is written, "Therefore a man will leave his father and his mother, and will join with his wife, and they will be one flesh." Genesis 2:24 WEB. If you are not already married, we pray that you would consider God's design for marriage and commit to each other in a godly union and that abstain from sexual acts until married. If you are already married, we pray that you would renew your commitment to each other and seek God's guidance in your marriage.

Now, let us pray for you:

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You today, lifting up ### and her family. Lord, they have been through many struggles, and they need Your divine intervention. We pray that this new year would truly be a new beginning for them, filled with Your love, joy, and peace.

Father, we pray for their relationship. Help them to forgive each other, to be kind and compassionate, and to communicate effectively without arguing or name-calling. Guide them towards Your design for marriage, and help them to commit to each other in a godly union.

We also pray for their living situation. Lord, provide for their needs and guide them out of the family shelter into a stable home where they can raise their family in peace and security.

Most importantly, we pray that they would come to know You, Father, through a personal relationship with Your Son, Jesus Christ. It is only his name we can approach you. It is only his name we can be saved. May they call upon Your name and be saved, and may Your will be done in their lives.

In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Lastly, we encourage you to seek God's will in all aspects of your life. Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make straight your paths. Proverbs 3:5-6 WEB.

Please know that we are here for you, supporting you in prayer and encouragement. Keep holding on to God's promises, and trust that He has a plan and a purpose for your life.

We also notice that your request does not mention the name of Jesus Christ, Jesus, or Christ or an abbreviation such as IJN (In Jesus Name). It is only through the name of Jesus Christ that we have access to God. "For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus" 1 Timothy 2:5 WEB. It is important to pray in his name for salvation and when we pray for the forgiveness of our sins. It is only by the name of Jesus we can be saved. Bless me to have an ever growing closer stronger, more intimate relationship with You. Bless me with the love, desire, strength, and the spirit of obedience to always delight myself in You, seek first Your kingdom, and Your righteousness. Help and strengthen me God to always respect and obey You. Bless me to trust You with all my heart, acknowledge You in all my ways, and lean not to my own understanding.

God heal me. Deliver and cleansed me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You. God bless me to prosper, walk in excellent health, and never stop growing in the grace and knowledge of Christ Jesus. Transform and renew my mind. Bless me with love, power, and a sound mind. Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. Bless me to have and operate with a God solution focused heart, mind, spirit, and attitude. Bless me to have a God Kingdom Culture Mentality. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. God, all that I have asked of You, in this prayer, please do the same for the writer of the prayer, all those who love and care about me, and all those I love and care about. Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
