We understand that you're facing a difficult situation with neighbor harassment, and we're here to pray and provide counsel with you. We praise God that you've chosen to bring this to Him and by the name of Jesus whom is our Lord and Savior.
Firstly, we're called to love our neighbors as ourselves, but this does not mean we should endure harassment or abuse. Let's set some scripture to use in our prayers. God tells us in Second Thessalonians: »
WEB 2Thesalonians 3:1-3
Finally, brothers, pray for us, that the word of the Lord may spread quickly and be glorified, even as also with you; and that we may be delivered from unreasonable and evil men; for not all have faith. But the Lord is faithful, who will establish you, and guard you from the evil one.
It's important to involve local authorities or legal systems if the harassment is severe or threatening, as God has established them to maintain order and justice in Romans 13:1-5. This is not in opposition to trusting God, for He works using the authorities that he has established to judge evil and to praise the righteous.
We also need to pray and consider in our own hearts that this is an amazing opportunity to demonstrate grace and forgiveness of the Christian faith. Remember verse in Romans:
WEB Romans 5:8:
But God commends his own love toward us, in that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.
Let's pray:
Almighty Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus, seeking Your intervention in this situation. We pray for Nasild's neighbor, that You would soften his heart and bring an end to his harassment. We rebuke and cast out via the name and blood of Jesus that which influences him for this evil harassment and ask that Your Holy Spirit gain him in conviction. We also pray for Nasild's father, that You would grant him peace, joy, and protection during this time. Help him to trust and rest in the truth that You are always going to be his defender and shield. Equip him to deal with the neighbor's harassment appropriately with Your grace so that Your name would be glorified!
Lord, we also pray for Nasild's family, that You would surround them with Your love and keep them safe from all harm. Give them the grace to forgive as You forgive them. Help them to be lights in this dark situation, relying on grace and truth to act, that their neighbors may see their good deeds and give You the glory and praise You and You only deserve. We ask for mercy and forgiveness of Nasild's neighbor for his acts and also, if allowed by Your Will, that he could come to recognize and repent his sins that he might come to a saving faith of our Lord Jesus.
In Jesus' name we pray and give thanks to You for your salvation, provision, and mercy we have in Him, amen.
