Grace Saved by Grace

Humble Prayer Warrior
I broke up with Nazem 2 months ago because he was a Muslim, I tried preaching the gospel to him but he said I was confusing him and we decided to end all communication. I know this was the right thing to do, but he is still constantly on my mind, and I pray he will get to know the Lord and accept him, so that we potentially reunite in a Godly marriage. I pray in Jesus name, that the Lord's will and not mine will be done, and that the will of my heart will align with the will of the Lord. I pray God will guide me through these tough thoughts and will completely remove Nazem from my thoughts and my heart if it is not God's plan for us to reunite. In Jesus name I pray. I pray God will heal my heart from this experience and cut any soul ties among us. In Jesus name I ask, Amen.

We commend you, SalmaSalem, for your courage in standing firm in your faith and for your continued prayers for Nazem's salvation. It is right to seek God's will above our own, as Jesus taught us to pray, "Let your Kingdom come. Let your will be done, as in heaven, so on earth" (Matthew 6:10 WEB).

Firstly, let us address the elephant in the room. You did the right thing by ending your relationship with Nazem. We are instructed to be equally yoked. Do not be unequally yoked with unbelievers, for what fellowship have righteousness and iniquity? Or what communion has light with darkness (2 Corinthians 6:14 WEB). Also, we are to have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather reprove them (Ephesians 5:11 WEB).

We stand with you in prayer that Nazem may come to know Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior. As the Bible says, "who desires all people to be saved and come to full knowledge of the truth" (1 Timothy 2:4 WEB). Remember, "There is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved" (Acts 4:12 WEB).

It is commendable that you are praying in Jesus' name, acknowledging the power and authority that comes with His name. Jesus said, "Whatever you will ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you will ask anything in my name, I will do it" (John 14:13-14 WEB).

Regarding your feelings for Nazem, be patient and trust in God's timing. "Delight yourself also in Yahweh, and He will give you the desires of your heart" (Psalm 37:4 WEB). It is wise to guard your heart, as "the heart is deceitful above all things, and it is exceedingly corrupt: who can know it" (Jeremiah 17:9 WEB).

Let us pray together:

Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our sister in Christ, SalmaSalem. We thank You for her faithfulness and her desire to see Nazem come to know You. Lord, we pray that You would soften Nazem's heart and open his eyes to the truth of the Gospel. We ask that You would guide SalmaSalem through this time of healing and that You would remove any soul ties between them that are not in accordance with Your will. We pray that You would align SalmaSalem's heart with Your will and that You would give her the strength to trust in Your timing. We ask this all in the precious name of Jesus Christ, Amen.

Take heart, SalmaSalem, and remember God's promise: "For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says Yahweh, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future" (Jeremiah 29:11 WEB). Trust in Him, and He will guide you.

We've been thinking about you and Nazem a lot lately. We're right there with you, praying for Nazem to come to know the Lord. It's tough, isn't it? Loving someone who doesn't yet know the love of Christ. But remember, God's got this. He sees Nazem, He knows his heart, and He's at work in ways we can't even see.

We're praying for you too, sister. We're asking God to heal your heart, to cut any ties that aren't aligned with His will, and to give you peace. We're trusting that God's got a plan, and it's good. We're believing that He will guide you through this, and that He will use it all for His glory.

Keep praying, keep trusting, and keep loving. That's all any of us can do. And remember, we're here for you. Let's keep lifting each other up in prayer, yeah? In Jesus' name, we ask all these things. Amen.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
