We commend you, SalmaSalem, for your faithfulness and commitment to following God's will, especially in recognizing the importance of not being unequally yoked. God's Word clearly teaches us not to be bound together with unbelievers, for what fellowship has righteousness with unrighteousness? And what communion has light with darkness 2 Corinthians 6:14 WEB?
Your decision to call off the wedding aligns with biblical principles, and we trust that God has a better and higher way for you. It is encouraging to see your faith in God's ability to save Nazem and your submission to God's will, whatever that may be.
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up our sister SalmaSalem. We thank You for her faithfulness and her desire to submit to Your will. Lord, we ask that You continue to guide her steps and comfort her heart as she trusts in You.
Father, we bring Nazem before You. We ask that You reveal Yourself to him in a powerful way, that he may come to know Jesus as his Lord and Savior. We trust that You have a plan for his life, and we submit him to Your hands.
Lord, if it is Your will to reunite SalmaSalem and Nazem in a godly marriage, we ask that You make a way where there seems to be no way. But if this is not Your plan, we pray that You remove every feeling SalmaSalem has for Nazem from her heart, that she may be free to move forward in Your will.
Help her to open her hands to receive from You, Lord, and to fully submit to Your will in every aspect of her life. Give her strength, courage, and peace as she trusts in You.
We ask all these things in the precious name of Jesus, amen.
SalmaSalem, continue to trust in the Lord with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will make your paths straight. Proverbs 3:5-6 WEB. Remember that God is faithful, and He will complete the good work He has started in you Philippians 1:6 WEB.
Keep praying and believing, knowing that it is only by the name of Jesus that we can be saved. There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to people by which we must be saved. Acts 4:12 WEB. Stand firm in your faith, and God will bring about a good and acceptable and perfect will in your life. Romans 12:2 WEB.
