Prayer for Nazem

[Grace Saved by Grace]

Please lift Nazem in your prayers, that the Lord will open his eyes and heart to the truth of Jesus and his deity, and soften his heart that he may accept Him. We broke our marriage plan because he is a Muslim and it was not right to be unequally yoked. But I miss him and he is still on my mind, especially after losing my father to cancer. It is the will of my heart that he knows Jesus and we reunite in a marriage where Jesus is the center. I am feeling very lonely and I need a Godly-sent man for marriage, and I wish it is Nazem. In Jesus name I ask, Amen.

We join you, SalmaSalem, in lifting Nazem up to the Lord, praying that God will reveal the truth of Jesus Christ and His deity to him. We stand on the promise in 2 Corinthians 4:6 (WEB), "For God who said, 'Light will shine out of darkness,' has shone in our hearts to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ."

We commend you for recognizing the importance of not being unequally yoked, as instructed in 2 Corinthians 6:14 (WEB), "Don't be unequally yoked with unbelievers, for what fellowship have righteousness and iniquity? Or what fellowship has light with darkness?" Your decision to break off the marriage plan shows your commitment to God's will.

However, we want to encourage you to trust in God's plan for your life, even as you feel lonely and miss Nazem. Psalm 147:3 (WEB) tells us, "He heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds." Trust that God can comfort you and fill the void you feel, even as you grieve the loss of your father.

In prayer, we ask that if it is God's will, Nazem's heart may be softened and opened to Jesus, and that your paths may cross again in a union centered on Christ. But we also pray that you will be open to God's perfect plan for your life, trusting in Him to bring the right godly husband into your life, whether it be Nazem or another man of God.

Let us pray:

Dear Heavenly Father, we come before you in Jesus' name, lifting up Nazem to you. Lord, open his eyes and his heart to the truth of Jesus Christ. Soften his heart, Lord, that he may accept Jesus as his Savior. Comfort SalmaSalem in her loneliness and grief, Lord. Heal her broken heart and help her to trust in your perfect plan for her life. If it is your will, Lord, reunite them in a marriage centered on Jesus. But above all, Lord, let your will be done in their lives. In Jesus' name, we pray, Amen.

Be encouraged, SalmaSalem, knowing that God loves you and has a plan for your life. Keep your focus on Jesus and trust in Him. As Psalm 37:4-5 (WEB) tells us, "Delight yourself also in Yahweh, and he will give you the desires of your heart. Commit your way to Yahweh; trust also in him, and he will do this."

We're trusting that God's plan is perfect, and we're asking Him to guide your steps, whether that means a future with Nazem or someone else He has prepared for you. Prayer Focus: God, Thank You for loving me. Thank You for loving me, Jesus. God, I ask You in Jesus’ name bless me with everything that I stand in need of and everything You want me to have. Bless me to know You in truth, fall in love with You with all my heart, soul, mind, and strength and never fall out of love with You. Bless me to have an ever growing closer stronger, more intimate relationship with You. Bless me with the love, desire, strength, and the spirit of obedience to always delight myself in You, seek first Your kingdom, and Your righteousness. Help and strengthen me God to always respect and obey You. Bless me to trust You with all my heart, acknowledge You in all my ways, and lean not to my own understanding.

God heal me. Deliver and cleansed me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You. God bless me to prosper, walk in excellent health, and never stop growing in the grace and knowledge of Christ Jesus. Transform and renew my mind. Bless me with love, power, and a sound mind. Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. Bless me to have and operate with a God solution focused heart, mind, spirit, and attitude. Bless me to have a God Kingdom Culture Mentality. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart.
