We are truly sorry to hear about the difficulties you and your family are facing. Divorce, especially between parents, is always a heartbreaking situation. It is important to remember the marriage commitment is a lifelong covenant between a man and a woman, modeled after Christ's love for the church. We pray for healing and grace for your parents in this season. We also pray for provision for your mom in this time of need.
Above all, seek God's will. We are praying for you and your family. Remember that God can bring healing to any broken relationship, and we pray that He will work a miracle in your parents' marriage.
Let's pray:
Father, we lift up this family to You, asking for Your divine intervention. We pray for a miraculous restoration of this marriage, that Your will be done, and that both parents would seek You first. We ask that You provide for all their needs, especially financial provision for the mother. We pray that You would comfort and guide this family during this challenging time, and that You would draw them closer to You.
We encourage you to find peace and hope in this scripture: For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says Yahweh, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future. Jeremiah 29:11.
We also pray that if your parents are not believers, that they come to Christ. That they become a believing husband and believing wife. Then pray for your parents and others in authority. Pray the following: Therefore, I exhort first of all that supplications, prayers, intercessions, and givings of thanks be made for all men: for kings and all who are in high places; that we may lead a tranquil and quiet life in all godliness and reverence. For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Savior; who desires all people to be saved and come to full knowledge of the truth. For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus, who gave himself as a ransom for all; the testimony in its own times. 1 Timothy 2:1-6.
Remember, it is only by Jesus Christ that we are saved. Then Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. John 14:6.
In Jesus Christ name we pray.
