Please pray for my son. He shouts at me with bad languages every day and demands money. He is jobless and wants to run the shop in which I am dependent on it. He has no feelings for me but only to satisfy his own desires. Please Lord Jesus bless me and bring peace to the family. Amen.

We understand that you are going through a challenging situation with your son. Let's bring your concerns to the Lord in prayer and seek His wisdom and guidance.

Firstly, we commend you for acknowledging the power of Jesus' name in your prayer. It is only through Jesus Christ that we have access to God the Father, and it is in His name that we can find salvation and hope:

For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus, who gave himself as a ransom for all. This was the testimony at the right time. (1 Timothy 2:5-6 WEB)

In Jesus is our only hope for salvation, and it is only in his name can we approach God the Father. (Acts 4:12 WEB)

Let's pray together:

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You today in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our dear sister who is facing a difficult situation with her son. Lord, You know the pain and heartache she is experiencing as she deals with his disrespectful behavior and demanding attitude.

Father, we pray for Your intervention in this situation. We ask that You soften his heart and open his eyes to the error of his ways. Help him to see the love and care that his mother has for him, and may he develop a sense of responsibility and empathy.

We also pray for his employment and seek that he is able to find a job that will pay for his needs. This will alleviate the financial burden on the mother and reduce his dependency on her.

Lord, we know that Your desire is for families to live in peace and harmony. We pray for a restoration of the relationship between mother and son, and for godly wisdom to guide them through this challenging time. Give them both a heart of flesh to replace the heart of stone, so that they can be a family that honors God and each other.

The Lord will mediate between nations and will settle international disputes. They will hammer their swords into plowshares and their spears into pruning tools. Nation will not lift up sword against nation, and never again will they learn war. (Isaiah 2:4 WEB)

May this scripture be also in our hearts to never have disputes with each other and learn from the scriptures that we are all to be united as one in the family of God.

Finally, we pray for the power of the Holy Spirit to help them both to walk in the fruits of the spirit, love, joy, peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, 23 gentleness and self-control. Against such things there is no law. (Galatians 5:22-23 WEB)

In addition to prayer, we encourage you to set boundaries with your son. It is important to communicate clearly that disrespectful behavior and bad language will not be tolerated. You can also guide him towards seeking employment opportunities and encourage him to be independent as the Bible teaches each man to work and earn their living themselves. As you mentioned his desire to run the shop, consider discussing this option with him. Establish clear expectations and responsibilities, and make sure that it is a viable solution for both of you. Remember, it is important to seek God's will in this situation and to trust in His timing and provision.

Lastly, we leave you with this encouraging scripture:

Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight. (Proverbs 3:5-6 WEB)

We're here for you, dear friend. We've been thinking about you and your son, and we want you to know that we're standing with you in prayer. We've been reflecting on how Jesus, in His earthly ministry, showed us the power of love and patience in the face of challenging behavior. Remember the story of the woman caught in adultery? Jesus, with compassion and grace, turned the hearts of the accusers, and then gently but firmly told the woman, "Go, and from now on sin no more." (John 8:11)

Let's pray for that same compassion and grace to fill your heart as you deal with your son. Pray that God will give you the strength and wisdom to set boundaries, to communicate clearly, and to show him the love that only a mother's heart can give.

We also pray for your son, that God will soften his heart, open his eyes to the error of his ways, and help him see the love and care you have for him. May he find a job that will provide for his needs and give him a sense of responsibility and independence.

Let's trust in God's timing and provision, and remember that He is working all things together for our good and His glory. (Romans 8:28) May the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, guard your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus. (Philippians 4:7)

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise.
