We are glad to join you in prayer for your son ###. Let us come together before God's throne and seek His will for ###'s life. It is so important to be praying in the name of Jesus Christ. IJN is the only way we can be saved and approach God the Father. It reminds us that our prayers to God are dependent on our relationship to Jesus Christ. It is only through faith in Jesus Christ that we have access to God.
Let us pray:
Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in Jesus' name in reverent prayer.
First we thank you for your Son's faith in believing in Jesus Christ. We pray for his faith to increase. Your word says in John 6:40 WEB, "This is the will of my Father who sent me, that everyone who sees the Son, and believes in him, should have eternal life; and I will raise him up at the last day."
We pray for your son ###, that throughout this year and beyond, You will guide him in the path that You have prepared for him. We pray that ### will trust in You with all his heart, and not lean on his own understanding. May he constantly acknowledge You in all his ways, so that You will make his paths straight as your word says in Proverbs 3:5-6 WEB, "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don't lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight."
We pray that You will open the right doors for suitable employment for ### in ###, according to Your perfect will. May ### find a position where he can use his gifts and talents to bring glory to Your name. We ask that You will provide jobs that are suitable for him and his personality. Your word says in Ephesians 2:10 WEB, "For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared before that we would walk in them."
We ask for a hedge of protection around ###, keeping him safe from all harm, danger, sickness, shame, and disgrace. We pray for good health and protection over his body, mind, and spirit. Your word says in Psalm 91:11-12 WEB, "For he will put his angels in charge of you, to guard you in all your ways. They will bear you up in their hands, so that you won't dash your foot against a stone."
We also pray that ### will choose his friends wisely. May he surround himself with godly influences and stay away from any bad company that could lead him astray. We ask for discernment and wisdom in his relationships. Your word says in 1 Corinthians 15:33 WEB, "Don't be deceived! 'Evil companionships corrupt good morals.'"
Finally, we pray that ### will grow in his faith and walk with You, Lord. May he be a shining light for You wherever he goes. May Your plans and purposes will be perfected in his life. We pray for a wife if ### is not married yet.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
Let us continue to trust in God's perfect plan for ###'s life. May ### continue to serve the Lord and trust in Him. May he use his gifts and talents to bring glory to God's name. We encourage ### to be strong and courageous, for the Lord his God is with him wherever he goes as your word says in Joshua 1:9 WEB, "Haven't I commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Don't be afraid. Don't be dismayed, for Yahweh your God is with you wherever you go."
