We understand your concern for your son, and we join you in lifting him up in prayer. Let us bring your requests to God, who cares deeply for your son and knows his needs.
Firstly, we want to encourage you that God wants your son to be healed, but we must say Christ Jesus's name to be able to approach him. Let us remember the words of Jesus in John WEB:
"Whatever you will ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you will ask anything in my name, I will do it."
Now let us pray together.
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up this precious little boy to You. Lord, You know the struggles he faces with speech delay and concentration. We ask, Jesus, that You would touch his tongue and loose it according to the promise. according to Your will and in Your timing, grant him the ability to speak clearly and to focus on tasks and just as importantly hear your word and do it.
Intervene from on high that anything blocking your son's normal development is removed. You tell us that Your word does not return void.
Father, we also pray for the parents.
As worried as they are for their son, they only mention God and Lord Jesus. In John 14:6 WEB Jesus declares,
"I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me."
Please, Lord, reveal yourself to them. They need to know that the only way to God is through Jesus Christ.
There is more than enough to worry about with their son's health, even bigger worry is their eternal life. Please, reveal yourself to them. Thank you, father, we humble ourselves and ask these things and more, according to Your will.
We encourage this little boy’s family to remain steadfast and in faith. Continue to trust in the Lord and His promises. Remember that even in trials such as this, Father lets his light shine through us, as long as we profess his son, Jesus Christ.
Keep praying and trusting in the Lord, for He is faithful. Consider teaching your child using songs just as the kind Mothers of Moses probably used songs to relate to Moses, his history and his faithfulness.
Psalm 107:20 WEB says,
He sends His word and heals them,
and delivers them from their graves.
Stand on God’s Word and His promises, and watch as He works in your son’s life just as He worked in the Life of Moses.
