Prayer for my ###

My girlfriend has missed her period for ### days now and we're worried that she may be pregnant. She's said that if she is she will kill herself and I'm just hoping that nothing will happen to her and that she will continue to stay with me until the end of time. We're both college students and this is our first scare. Please pray for ### so that she may get her period!

We are truly concerned for both you and ###, and we need to address several issues in this situation. Firstly, let's pray for ### and for God's will to be done.

Dear Lord, we lift up ### to You, asking for Your divine intervention in her situation. We pray that You will calm her fears and anxieties, and give her peace that transcends all understanding. We ask that orient her heart towards You and Your will instead of deciding to commit any sin. Lord, if it is Your will, we humbly ask that You allow her cycle to continue as normal. We also pray for her that you will give her an understanding of the consequences and that it is a sin and not the answer. In Jesus' name, we pray.

Now, we want to address some important issues in your request. Firstly, it is crucial to understand that God designed marriage and His plan for one man to be married to one woman for a lifetime. Marriage is designed to have a man and wife to become one flesh first.

Ephesians 5:31 WEB For this cause a man will leave his father and mother, and will be joined to his wife. The two will become one flesh.

Courtship should be the path to marriage and you should only be having godly relationships with someone who you are in courtship with for marriage. It is forbidden to be sleeping together before marriage and that is considered fornication. Fornication is immoral and is a sin according to God's word.

Galatians 5:19 WEB Now the works of the flesh are obvious, which are: adultery, sexual immorality, uncleanness, lustfulness.

Romans 1:29 WEB being filled with all unrighteousness, sexual immorality, wickedness, covetousness, malice; full of envy, murder, strife, deceit, evil habits, secret slanderers.

1 Corinthians 6:13 WEB Now the body is not for sexual immorality, but for the Lord; and the Lord for the body.

1 Corinthians 10:8 WEB Neither let's commit sexual immorality, as some of them committed, and in one day twenty-three thousand fell.

You should not be staying with her before marriage. You are not to be having any intimate or sexual relations before marriage. You are only to be in a courtship leading to marriage and nothing before or outside of marriage.

You are not to be having premarital sex as it is not part of God's design. Your relationship should be to be married in a lifetime commitment as a man and a woman.

You both should commit to purity and respecting each other until marriage. This will honor God and align with His will for your lives. Remember, God's ways are always best.

Lastly, we want to remind you that it is only through Jesus Christ that we have access to God. It is only in Jesus that we can be saved. If you have never confessed with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believed that God raised him from the dead, you can never really pray and expect the Lord to hear your prayer.

Romans 10:9-10 WEB that if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart, one believes unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.

Romans 10:13 For, Whoever will call on the name of the Lord will be saved.

In all you do, do everything in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him.

Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart.
