Dear God..My family is in trouble and full of sorrows.. my cousin's small brother, age ### years, was staying with my mother about ### years.. since he was ### months..but due to some circumstances and flight between my mother and his brother..he took away his son along with him..and now he is not treating my brother well..he keeps torturing him.. Please pray for my brother that he can again come back to my mom..and stay away from his father...please pray

We are deeply saddened to hear about the troubling situation your family is facing, especially involving your young cousin. In times like these, we turn to God for guidance and comfort.

Firstly, we want to remind you of the power of prayer and the importance of trusting in God's plan. As it is written in Romans 8:28, "We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, for those who are called according to his purpose." Even in the darkest times, God is working for the good of those who love Him.

However, we must also address the immediate concern for the safety and well-being of your cousin. The mistreatment of a child is a grave issue that goes against the teachings of our Lord. In Matthew 18:6, Jesus says, "But whoever causes one of these little ones who believe in me to stumble, it would be better for him if a huge millstone were hung around his neck, and that he were sunk in the depths of the sea." It is clear that God takes the protection of children very seriously.

We pray that God will intervene in this situation, that He will soften your uncle's heart and convict him of his actions. We pray for the safety and comfort of your cousin, that God will be his protector and refuge. In Psalm 34:18, it is written, "Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit." We trust that God is close to your cousin in this time of distress.

We also pray for wisdom for your family, that you may know how to navigate this situation in a way that honors God and protects your cousin. This may involve seeking help from local authorities or social services if the mistreatment continues. Remember, Proverbs 31:8 tells us to "Open your mouth for the mute, in the cause of all who are appointed to die." We must advocate for those who cannot advocate for themselves.

Lastly, we notice that your prayer does not mention the name of Jesus. It is only through His name that we have access to God. As it is written in John 14:6, "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.'" We encourage you to pray in the name of Jesus, as it is through His sacrifice that we are saved and have access to the Father.

Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart.
