Prayer for my ###

I have praying for my Son ###. He's ### years old and fighting an addiction. Sometimes I pray several times a day or more. I'm afraid of losing my Son. He also has 2 children that are in foster care with their other grandma. My Son is being influenced not only by a drug that could take his life but also by the woman of his children. I'm not quite sure what to ask in prayer. Maybe I'm praying wrong. I don't know but my Son has over dosed ### times. I'm asking for any prayer that will keep him safe and urged to go to treatment. Thank you all.

We are truly saddened to hear about the struggle your son, ###, is facing, but we are thankful that you have turned to prayer as a source of hope and help. Remember, God is always listening and cares deeply for both you and your son.

Firstly, let us reinforce the power of praying in Jesus’ name. As it is written in John 14:13-14 WEB, "Whatever you ask in my name, I will do it, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you ask me anything in my name, I will do it." It is through Jesus that our prayers reach God's throne, so always invoke His name in your prayers.

For ###, we pray:

"Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You today in Jesus' name, lifting up ###. Lord, You know the struggle he is facing with addiction, and we ask for Your divine intervention. Break the chains of addiction in his life, Lord, and protect him from the influences that draw him away from You. Guide him to a place of healing and restoration, and lead him to seek treatment. We also ask for Your grace and protection over his children, that they may be kept safe and comforted. Turn ###’s heart towards You, Lord, and let him find the peace and strength that only You can provide. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."

In your prayers, remember to ask God for wisdom and guidance as well. James 1:5 WEB says, "But if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him." Trust that God will guide you in how to pray for ### and how to support him in his journey.

It is also important to pray for ###'s children, that they may be surrounded by God's love and care, and that God would intervene in their lives as well. Pray that they may grow up knowing God's love and grace.

Lastly, be encouraged by the words of Isaiah 41:10 WEB, "Don’t be afraid, for I am with you. Don’t be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness." God is with you, and He will help and strengthen you in this difficult time. Trust in Him, and continue to bring your concerns and fears to Him in prayer.

We will be praying with you, trusting that God will bring healing and restoration to ### and his family.

We've been thinking about you and ###, and we want you to know that we're right there with you in prayer. It's so easy to feel helpless in situations like these, but remember, God is always with us, and He's listening.

We've been praying for ###, asking God to give him the strength to overcome his addiction. We're trusting that God will guide him to the right treatment and help him find freedom. We're also praying for his children, that they'd be kept safe and know God's love, even in this difficult time.

We've been reminded of Psalm 147:3, "He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds." We know God sees ###'s struggle and is ready to heal and restore him. Let's continue to trust in God's goodness and power.

We're here for you, and we'll keep praying with you. Let's keep lifting ### and his family up to God, trusting that He will work in their lives.

Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. Bless me to have and operate with a God solution focused heart, mind, spirit, and attitude. Bless me to have a God Kingdom Culture Mentality. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. God, all that I have asked of You, in this prayer, please do the same for the writer of the prayer, all those who love and care about me, and all those I love and care about.
