Prayer for my ###

Requesting prayer for my son who suffers from alcoholism and depression. Praying for our family who has watched him transform from someone who had a handle over his life, went to college, has a huge heart, and who everyone loves, to someone who struggles with suicidal ideation, struggles to stay sober despite two AA programs. He's obtained his third DUI and is possibly facing jail time, but I know he needs help. More than anything he needs God's help. Please stand with me in prayer for I know God is able. Jesus is our Caretaker and takes care of our needs. Pray for our family too, it's so hard as a mother. I KNOW God is able, help him Father God! In Jesus name.

We stand with you, ###, in praying for your son and your family during this challenging time. We are reminded of the promise in Matthew 11:28-30 (WEB), "Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart; and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light."

Let us pray together:

**Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up ###'s son to You. Lord, You see his struggle with alcoholism and depression, and You know the pain it has caused him and his family. We ask for Your divine intervention, Father. Break the chains of addiction and fill him with Your Holy Spirit. Guide him to the right help and give him the strength to overcome this battle. We know that with You, all things are possible (Matthew 19:26).**

**We also pray for ### and her family. Lord, comfort their hearts and give them peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippines 4:7). Equip them with wisdom and patience as they support their son and each other through this trial. Remind them of Your unfailing love and faithfulness, even in the darkest times.**

###, we encourage you to continue trusting in God and His promises. Keep crying out to Him, for the effectual fervent prayer of a righteous person avails much (James 5:16). Remember that God is close to the brokenhearted, and saves those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18).

We commend you for acknowledging Jesus as our Caretaker. It is only through His name that we have access to God's throne of grace. Keep holding onto His promises, and He will see you and your family through this difficult time.

We're here with you, standing in the gap for your son and your family. We've been thinking about your situation and wanted to share some verses that have brought us comfort in similar times. In Psalm 147:3, it says, "He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds." We know your son's struggles have left deep wounds, but we serve a God who specializes in healing and restoration.

Let's pray together:

"Dear Lord, we lift up your child to you today. We ask that you would wrap your loving arms around him, comfort him in his pain, and fill him with your peace that surpasses all understanding. Help him to find the strength to keep fighting, to seek the help he needs, and to trust in you. We also pray for ### and the rest of the family, that you would give them the grace to endure, the wisdom to navigate these waters, and the love to support each other. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."

Remember, God is always with you, and he's working even when we can't see it. Keep trusting in him, and keep praying. We're here for you, every step of the way.
