Prayer for my ###

My name is ### and I'm here seeking for the Lord's help to grant me the love of ###. She's a single mother and even though she says she loves me too, she has doubts and fears on starting a proper relationship due to a last bad experience. She's too busy, sometimes she's kind and other times very cold towards me and that hurts, I'm having hard times, negative thoughts and feel lost as I've done so much for her to accept me. I only want God to make me a better man, gives us more time to share and to soften her heart so she sees my efforts to protect her and build happiness for the rest of our lives as I realized she's my true love, I've been praying non stop and I can't afford to lose her. Please God, give me the proper words and actions towards her, remove lies, lack of interest or effort from our lives and guide us, I want to rest and be calm you are working on my request. Jorge, we hear your heart's cry and we stand with you in prayer, seeking God's will for your life and ###'s. We commend you for bringing your requests to God, as it is written in Philippians 4:6-7 WEB, "In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus."

Firstly, we want to encourage you to continue pursuing godly character as you await God's leading. As Psalm 37:3-5 WEB says, "Trust in the LORD, and do good. Dwell in the land, and enjoy safe pasture. Also delight yourself in the LORD, and he will give you the desires of your heart. Commit your way to the LORD. Trust also in him, and he will do this."

Regarding ###, we pray that God would soften her heart and heal her from her past hurts. We ask God to give you wisdom and patience as you interact with her. Colossians 4:6 WEB reminds us, "Let your speech always be with grace, seasoned with salt, that you may know how you ought to answer each one." Remember, ###, that true love is patient and kind, not arrogant or rude, not insisting on its own way (1 Corinthians 13:4-5 WEB).

However, we also want to caution you, ###. It's important to discern if ###'s fears and doubts are from God's leading or merely from past hurt. Not all relationships are God's will, and sometimes He uses circumstances to direct us away from certain paths. Seek God's face earnestly, and be open to His will, even if it's not what you desire.

We also want to address your feelings of despair and negative thoughts. Remember that God's love for you is not dependent on this relationship. Trust in His unfailing love, as Psalm 147:3 WEB says, "He heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds."

Lastly, we praise God that you have prayed in Jesus' name. It is through Him that we have access to the Father, as it is written in John 14:6 WEB, "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.'"

Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in Jesus' name, lifting up ### and ###. Lord, we ask for Your will to be done in their lives. Soften ###'s heart, Lord, and heal her from her past. Give ### wisdom, patience, and peace as he waits on You. Help him to trust in You and to desire Your will above all else. Comfort his heart, Lord, and remind him of Your unfailing love. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
