We thank you, ###, for reaching out and sharing your concern for your grandson, ###. We stand with you in prayer, seeking God's will for his life.
In the face of mental and emotional challenges, we remember the promise in Zephaniah 3:17 (WEB), "Yahweh, your God, is in your midst; a mighty one who will save. He will rejoice over you with joy. He will calm you in his love. He will rejoice over you with singing." God is present with ### in his struggles, and He loves him dearly.
However, we must also address that the request does not mention the name of Jesus Christ. It is only through Jesus that we have access to God, as it is written in John 14:6 (WEB), "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.'" Let us ensure that ### understands this truth, as it is the foundation of our faith.
Let us pray together:
"Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up ###. We thank You for his newfound faith, and we ask that You strengthen him in his journey with You. Lord, we plead for Your protection over him—spiritually, mentally, and emotionally. Comfort him in his distress, and guide him through the power of the Holy Spirit. Help him to understand that You are always with him, and that he can cast all his anxieties on You, for You care for him (1 Peter 5:7). We also pray that ### will grow in the knowledge of Jesus Christ, understanding that it is through Him alone that we are saved. In Jesus' precious name, we pray. Amen."
Encourage ### to cling to God's promises and to grow in his faith through the reading of God's Word and fellowship with other believers. Remind him that in his weakness, God's strength is made perfect (2 Corinthians 12:9). We will continue to keep him in our prayers.
