We understand your concern for your younger brother and the spiritual bondage he may be experiencing. We stand with you in prayer and seek God's will for his deliverance and salvation.
Firstly, let us be reminded of the power of Jesus Christ over all spiritual bondage as stated in Colossians 2:15 WEB: "Having disarmed the powers and authorities, he made a show of them openly, triumphing over them by the cross." And also we remember 1 John 3:8 WEB, "He who sins is of the devil, for the devil has been sinning from the beginning. To this end the Son of God was revealed: that he might destroy the works of the devil.".
Our heartfelt prayer to God the Father for your brother:
Lord Jesus Christ, we come before You, lifting up our brother, who has been subjected to spiritual attacks and bondage. We stand on Your Word in Mark 16:17 WEB: "These signs will accompany those who believe: in my name they will cast out demons; they will speak with new languages", casting out every evil spirit, every demonic influence over his life. We speak healing, deliverance, and freedom to him in Jesus Christ's mighty name.
Lord, we ask You to search his heart and remove any roots of bitterness, anger, or unforgiveness that may have allowed this bondage to take hold. We know that forgiveness is key to deliverance, as You taught us in Mark 11:25 WEB: "When you stand praying, forgive, if you have anything against anyone; so that your Father, who is in heaven, may also forgive you your transgressions.", Help him to forgive those who have harmed him, as we ask forgiveness for him.
We rebuke the claims made, worrying about witchcraft or Satanic influence, or what people may have done. In Matthew 13:41 WEB, we know that all lawlessness will be removed from the kingdom and cast into the furnace of fire. We know that the fire of the Holy Spirit will dwell in him and it will be a furnace that the spirit, soul, and body of our brother will be preserved in, as written in Isaiah 33:14 WEB And the sinners in Zion are afraid. Trembling has seized the godless ones. Who among us can live with the devouring fire? Who among us can live with everlasting burning? And again in the affirmation of the gospel from Romans 6:2 WEB, "God forbid. We who died to sin, how could we live in it any longer?".
Lord, we pray that You will bring conviction to those who have harmed him, and that they too may find repentance and forgiveness in Jesus our Savior. We do not ask for punishment but for salvation for these individuals. Ezekiel 18:32 WEB For I have no pleasure in the death of him who dies, says the Lord Yahweh. Therefore turn yourselves, and live!
Remember, we are not called to carry burdens into the new year, but to cast them upon the Lord, for He cares for us in 1 Peter 5:7 WEB.
We need to correct the statement you gave. Do not desire punishment for your enemies. Please forgive those who trespassed against your brother as Jesus did for us. To punish your family members who have harmed him will a potentionally result in an eternal spiritual death and send them to hell.
It was implied that this may be a curse given to him by his grandmother and aunt. A curse without a cause shall not alight but only from sin of the one cursed. Therefore, we know that was not a curse from God but if it is true it was witchcraft. Furthermore, you must forgive them, regardless if what was spoken or done against your brother is true or not. Please remember that angry does not produce the righteousness that God desires from James 1:20 WEB Know this, my beloved brothers. Every man should be swift to hear, slow to speak, and slow to wrath;
Please reject any statements you have made that put the focus on what others have done to your brother and focus solemnly on Jesus Christ the author and finisher of our faith. Jesus must be the only one we focus on and look to in trust. All of us are in need because of our sin and we all are searching for a victorious life to live in harmony with God by the complete sacrifice and redemption only found in Jesus Christ. As correctly stated in Matthew 7:1 WEB, "Do not judge, so that you won't be judged."
Please note that there is power in the name of Jesus Christ. Do not only pretend to use it but earnestly believe in it as written in Hebrews 13:15 WEB Through him, then, let us offer up a sacrifice of praise to God continually, that is, the fruit of lips which proclaim allegiance to his name. And in the affirmation of our faith as written in Acts 4:12 WEB "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"
Also, as it is written in John 14:6 WEB "Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me." To not focus on Jesus Christ as the Jewish people and Israelites did before is a heart issue and is idolatry. This applies to all of us. We may have not known better to focus on God in former times when the prophets were alive but now we do, as written in Hebrews 1:1 WEB God, having in the past spoken to the fathers through the prophets at many times and in various ways,
Have hope in him and give him to God. Have peace in Jesus Christ, be patient and trust in His timing. Know and be reminded that all sinners will be separated from God for eternity from Jesus' words in Matthew 7:22 WEB Many will tell me in that day, Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy by your name, by your name cast out demons, and by your name do many mighty works?
He will have victory in Jesus Christ or Pakistan and anyone else who chooses to submit to Him.
