Prayer for my wife’s return home

My wife and I have been separated for 4 years and there has been little to nothing done to restore our marriage.We talk on the phone constantly even to the point we go to sleep on the phone but we haven’t had counseling, we don’t spend time together other than the phone.And it causes her to get upset when I ask about or mention it to her.It’s really weird to me that we can talk on the phone for so much time but yet never spend quality time together or go to counseling and those 2 things causes her to get upset.And on top of that she is moving to her 3rd apartment in a few weeks since the separation and struggling to maintain but still not come home.Also she has a dog that is more important than her husband is to her.I say that because when I mention that I want to come see her her response is my dog this that or the other.So prayers are needed for us to hear from The Lord and move as He has ordained marriage to.Thanks so much in advance for your time and prayers.

It is concerning that there has been little effort in seeking counseling or spending quality time together. It is important to note that actions speak louder than words. While it is commendable that you both talk on the phone constantly, it is crucial to take practical steps towards restoration. As it is written, "Faith without works is dead." (James 2:20)

Moreover, it is worrying that your wife seems to prioritize her dog over your marriage. While it is important to care for animals, it should not be at the expense of a godly marriage. As the Bible teaches, "No one can serve two masters. For either he will hate the one and love the other, or else he will hold to the one and despise the other." (Matthew 6:24)

Yes I make plans for counseling and she backs out if it interferes with her doing any extra work for her job I communicate with her and ask to look at scripture to see how to deal with our situation and it may turn into a argument for her because I don’t choose to go that route. So I’m at a point where I really want to just throw in the towel.It’s been 4 years and to me it feels as if she is happy with the way things are and having her dog.
