We are deeply saddened to hear about the pain and brokenness you and your wife are experiencing due to sexual addiction. We want to lift you both up in prayer and share God's truth with you.
Firstly, we must acknowledge that sexual sin is serious and destructive. As it is written in 1 Corinthians 6:18, "Flee sexual immorality! Every other sin that a man may commit is outside the body, but he who commits sexual immorality sins against his own body." This sin has hurt not only you but also your wife and your marriage.
However, there is hope for healing and restoration through Jesus Christ. As it says in 1 John 1:9, "If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness." We encourage you to confess your sin honestly to God and to your wife, and to commit to genuine repentance, turning away from this addiction.
Let's pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father, we come before you today in the name of Jesus, pleading for Shulfirailn's marriage. Lord, we ask for your healing power to touch his wife's heart, easing her pain and hurt. Give her the strength she needs at this time, and help her to forgive as you have forgiven us. Lord, we also pray for Shulfirailn, that you would set him free from this addiction and give him the power to resist temptation. Help him to be the husband you have called him to be, loving his wife as Christ loves the Church (Ephesians 5:25). We ask for your mercy and grace to surround their marriage, and we pray for restoration and healing. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
We encourage you, Shulfirailn, to seek professional help and accountability in your journey to overcome this addiction. Also, spend time in the Word of God, allowing it to renew your mind (Romans 12:2). Lastly, remember that it is only by the name of Jesus that we can be saved and reconciled to God and to each other (Acts 4:12). Trust in Him, and He will see you through.
