Prayer for my ### to leave bad friendship

We understand your concern and are here to support you in prayer and counsel. It's important to remember that bad company corrupts good character, as told in 1 Corinthians 15:33 WEB: "Don't be deceived. Evil companionships corrupt good morals."
Your husband's friendship is causing strife in your marriage, and it is important to address this issue with urgency and spiritual wisdom. Drinking is causing problems and God tells us in Ephesians 5:18 WEB: "Don't be drunken with wine, in which is dissipation, but be filled with the Spirit."
It is also stated in Proverbs 23:20 WEB: "Don't be among ones who drink too much wine, or those who gorge themselves on meat: for the drunkard and the glutton shall become poor; and drowsiness clothes them in rags."
We also need to be aware that true friends do not use or manipulate others to save their money but they are honest and loving.

Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up this ###'s husband. Lord, You know the situation and the negative influence this friendship has on their marriage. We pray that You give him the strength and wisdom to cut off this harmful friendship. Open his eyes to see the truth and guide him in Your path. Help him to be a Godly husband. Protect their marriage and help them to reconcile any fighting that has occurred. Help them to forgive each other and be able to follow the instructions of your scriptures and rebuild their relationship. We pray this in Jesus Christ's Holy Name. Amen.
