Prayer for my ### to be released from jail

Me and my fiance have been together for ### years and have ### boys together, one is ### years old and one is about to be ### years old and my fiance has struggled with alcohol addiction since he was ### years old and a lot has happened to him since he was a child and couldn't ever cope with it. He was on probation and was violated for drinking but that's why he was in a treatment program to get help. I'm just praying that he has a swift release and doesn't have to get sent away. He is a great father and provider and has always helped me. We are a great team and we are never apart from each other. I don't want him to miss our son 1st bday, his name is ### and I am ###. Please come into agreement with me so that he can come home. We are set to be married this year and he just accepted Christ as his lord and savior a few days ago after I prayed with him and I have always been a believer since I was ### years old. Made a few mistakes along the way but my life has changed for the better.

Let us come together in prayer and counsel for you, ###, and your fiancé, ###. Firstly, we want to acknowledge your love and commitment to each other and to your children. It is evident that you both share a strong bond and that ### has been a great father and provider.

However, we must address a few things according to biblical principles. First, it is important to note that living together before marriage and having children can complicate a relationship and lead to sin. The Bible teaches us that sexual intimacy and children are blessings within the context of marriage. God's design for marriage is a lifelong commitment between a man and a woman.

For it is written, "Let marriage be held in honor among all, and let the marriage bed be undefiled, for God will judge the sexually immoral and adulterous." Hebrews 13:4 WEB.

Marriage is not specifically mentioned in your request so we might address this. It is also not mentioned that ### is a believer.

And we must add that drinking alcohol to drunkenness is a sin. The Bible warns us, "Don't be drunk with wine, because that will ruin your life. Instead, be filled with the Holy Spirit." Ephesians 5:18 WEB.

###'s struggle with alcohol addiction is a serious issue, and we commend him for seeking help through a treatment program. We encourage you both to continue seeking God's help in overcoming this addiction. We are Godly sorrowful that your children have to suffer due to these mistakes.

Regarding ###'s current situation, we pray that God's will be done in his life and in your family. We pray that God will grant him a swift release from jail and that he will not be sent away from his family. We pray that ### will find true freedom from his addiction and that he will be the Godly man, husband, and father that God has called him to be.

Let us pray:

"Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, asking for Your mercy and grace to be poured out on ### and ###'s life and in their family. Lord, we pray that You will grant ### a swift release from jail and that he will not be separated from his family. We pray that You will deliver him from his addiction to alcohol and that You will help him to become the Godly man, husband, and father that You have called him to be.

We pray for ###, that You will give her strength, wisdom, and patience as she supports ### and cares for their children. We pray that You will bless their family and that You will guide them in Your will for their lives. We pray that they will come to salvation in Jesus Christ if they have not already.

We've been where you are, feeling helpless and worried. But remember, God is always with us, even in the darkest times. He's promised us that, "I will never leave you nor forsake you" (Hebrews 13:5). That's a promise we can hold onto, ###.
