Prayer for my sons soccer/football team to win his match this morning, it’s a must win game for them to move through and he’s worked so hard to make this international tournament

Heavenly Father,

We come before You today with hearts full of hope and gratitude. We lift up this son's soccer/football team as they prepare for their crucial match this morning. Lord, You see the dedication and hard work that has gone into reaching this point. We ask for Your favor upon them, that they may play to the best of their abilities and experience the joy of their hard work bearing fruit.

In Your Word, You tell us, "Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord and not for men" (Colossians 3:23). We pray that these young athletes will play with integrity, sportsmanship, and passion, doing everything for Your glory. Strengthen them, give them clarity of mind, and protect them from any harm or injury.

Father, we also ask for peace and encouragement for all the players, coaches, and families involved. May they find comfort in knowing that You are with them, regardless of the outcome. Help them to trust in Your perfect plan, as it is written, "For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans for welfare and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope" (Jeremiah 29:11).

We place this match in Your hands, Lord, and ask for Your will to be done. May this experience bring them closer to one another and to You. In Jesus' name, we pray.
