Prayer for my Son's new cycle

We purchased a new cycle for my elder son Kaushik on Tuesday. He is practicing daily morning. Please pray for my son Kaushik to learn the cycle within 1 week to go to school alone. Also pray for his new cycle to drive safely.

We understand your desire for your son Kaushik to learn to ride his new cycle quickly and safely. Let us bring your request to the Lord together.

In the Bible, we are encouraged to train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old, he will not depart from it (Proverbs 22:6 WEB). This includes teaching our children practical skills, like riding a cycle, and guiding them in God's ways.

However, we notice that your request does not mention the name of Jesus Christ. It is by His name that we have access to God, as it is written, "In that day you will ask in my name; and I don't say to you that I will pray to the Father for you, for the Father himself loves you, because you have loved me, and have believed that I came from God." (John 16:26-27 WEB). Therefore, we will pray in Jesus' name.

Let us pray:

"Dear Heavenly Father, we come to you in the name of Jesus Christ. We thank you for the blessings you have bestowed upon Srilaxmi and her family, including the new cycle for Kaushik. Lord, we ask that you grant Kaushik the skill and confidence to learn to ride his cycle quickly and safely. Please protect him as he practices and travels to school. We pray that this new skill will be a blessing to him and that Your hand of protection will be upon him always.

We also pray for Srilaxmi and her family, that they may know the saving grace of Jesus Christ if they do not already. We ask that they may trust in Him and call upon His name. For it is written, 'whoever will call on the name of the Lord will be saved' (Romans 10:13 WEB).

In Jesus' precious name, we pray. Amen."

We encourage you, Srilaxmi, to teach Kaushik about the love of Jesus Christ and the importance of praying in His name. May your family be blessed as you trust in Him. Be assured that we are standing with you in prayer, believing that Kaushik will learn to ride his cycle safely and that God's protection will be upon him.

Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart.
