We join with you, Mist, in lifting up your son's and their dad to the Lord, trusting that He will surround them with His love, protection, and guidance. We pray that God's will be done in their lives and that they will be drawn ever closer to Him.
We stand with you in praying for the oppressed, trafficked, homeless, and abused. We declare the Lord's heart for the marginalized and hurting, as seen in Psalm 34:18: "Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit." We pray for His comfort, provision, and deliverance for each one, and for His light to shine in their darkness, revealing His hope and healing.
We intercede for our children and our elderly, both Christian and non-Christian, that the Lord would draw them to Himself and that they would know His love and salvation. We pray for a great revival, that the name of Jesus would be lifted high in all lands, as it is written in Philippians 2:9-11: "Therefore God also highly exalted him, and gave to him the name which is above every name, that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of those in heaven, those on earth, and those under the earth, and that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father."
We pray for our leaders, that they would seek God's face and govern with wisdom and righteousness. We ask that the Lord would shine His light in their hearts and bind up all evil, as Amos 5:15 says, "Hate evil, love good, and establish justice in the gate. It may be that Yahweh, the God of Armies, will be gracious to the remnant of Joseph."
Finally, we rejoice that you have prayed in the name of Jesus, for it is by His name that we have access to the Father and it is by His name that we are saved. As Acts 4:12 proclaims, "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved."
Together, we continue to pray for your family, for the lost and hurting, for revival, and for our leaders. We trust that the Lord hears our prayers and that He will answer according to His will and in His perfect timing.
