Prayer for my ### son

My son is ### year old and has been frequently visiting the hospital because of asthma. It has affected his daily normal routine and school. Please pray for the Lord's healing touch upon my son.

We are truly sorry to hear about your son's struggle with asthma. Let us stand with you in prayer, seeking God's healing and comfort for your son.

Let us remember that Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever. The same power that raised Jesus from the dead is available to us today. As it is written in Hebrews 13:8 WEB Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever.

In the book of James 5:14-15 WEB it says Is any among you sick? He should call for the elders of the assembly, and they should pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord, and the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up. If he has committed sins, he will be forgiven.

There is nothing more important than believing in the name of Jesus. It is by this name alone that we can come to God the Father. In Acts 4:12 it says There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved.

Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up this precious child to You. Lord, You know the struggles he has faced with asthma and how it has disrupted his daily life and schooling. We ask for Your healing touch upon him. As a loving Father, we know that it is Your desire for him to be whole and free of pain and sickness.

The Bible says, "Praise the Lord, my soul, and forget not all his benefits—who forgives all your sins and heals all your diseases, who redeems your life from the pit and crowns you with love and compassion, who satisfies your desires with good things so that your youth is renewed like the eagle’s." Father, we ask for this great benefit of healing to be manifested in the life of this dear son. In the name of Jesus Christ we pray.

We also pray for strength, patience, and wisdom for his parents and family during this time. Help them to trust in You and to be a source of comfort and support for him.

We claim this healing knowing that it is in Jesus Name that we are saved. There is no other name by which we can be saved and no other way to come to the Father but by Jesus Christ.

In Jesus' name, we pray with thanksgiving. Amen

We know that asthma can be a real challenge, but we trust that God is with him every step of the way. Let's remember that Jesus is always there, ready to comfort and heal. In the book of Matthew 8:17, it says, "He himself took our infirmities and bore our diseases." Let's claim that promise for your son today.

We also want to pray for peace and strength for your whole family. May you all find comfort and hope in Jesus during this time. Let's trust that God is working things out for your son's good and His glory, even in the midst of this trial.
