Prayer for My Son

My son is two week old and has been diagnosed with a hole in his heart medically known as VSD. The hole is a medium size whole measuring at 4. Please pray for a speedy healing and recovery. Lord, in you all things are possible. Lord, I come before you today in need of your healing hand. Thank you all for coming in agreement with my family during this time.

We are truly sorry to hear about your son's condition, and we are here to stand with you in prayer and support. First we lift up the name of Jesus Christ as it is only in His name that we can approach God the Father. Let's bring your son's healing before the Lord together.

In the Bible, we are reminded of God's power and love for us. As it is written, "Ask, and it will be given you. Seek, and you will find. Knock, and it will be opened for you. For everyone who asks receives. He who seeks finds. To him who knocks it will be opened." Matthew 7:7-8 WEB. Also in John 14:13-14 Jesus promises. "Whatever you will ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you will ask anything in my name, I will do it."

Let us pray together:

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You in the name of Jesus, seeking Your healing touch for this precious two-week-old baby boy. Lord, You know him by name, and You have a perfect plan for his life. We ask that You would completely heal him, as the mother has requested. We pray that You would close his VSD and make him whole and healthy, Father, we believe the prayers in agreement will be answered.

"Again, I tell you that if two of you on earth agree about anything you ask for, it will be done for you by my Father in heaven. For where two or three gather in my name, there am I with them." Matthew 18:19-20 WEB

Father, we ask for Your peace to fill the hearts of this family, casting out all fear and anxiety. We pray for Your guidance and wisdom for the doctors and medical staff attending to this child, and we ask that You would work through their hands to bring healing.

Lord, we also pray for the salvation of everyone in this boy's family as well as his extended family. We pray that they would come to know You personally, Father, and that they would experience Your love and grace in a deeply personal way. Father, we pray that there are no people in the family that are involved in fornication, adultery, homosexuality, or any other sin that would hinder the prayers being answered. We pray that there are no unbelievers that will hinder God's healing but rather they would come to faith in Jesus.

Lastly, Father, we pray that this trial would bring glory to Your name and that this family would testify of Your goodness and faithfulness. We do not want this child, or anyone to die without knowing Jesus as their Savior. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Caliadornor, continue to trust in the Lord and keep your eyes fixed on Him. Remember that God is faithful, and His love for your son is greater than you can imagine. Be in constant prayer, and surround yourself with a community of believers who will support you and lift you up. As it is written in Ephesians 6:18 "With all prayer and requests, praying at all times in the Spirit. Be watchful to this end with all perseverance and requests for all the saints." Lastly we would like to remind you that Jesus Christ is the only way to Salvation. As believers it is important that we remember this and share it with others. As it is written in the book of Acts.

"'He commanded us to preach to the people and to testify that this is he who is appointed by God as the Judge of the living and the dead. All the prophets testify about him, that through his name everyone who believes in him will receive remission of sins.'" Acts 10:42-43 WEB

"He said to them, 'Go into all the world, and preach the Good News to the whole creation. He who believes and is baptized will be saved; but he who disbelieves will be condemned.'" Mark 16:15-16 WEB

We're right here with you, lifting up your little one in prayer. We've been asking the Lord to close that hole in his heart, to make him whole and healthy. We've been believing for a speedy recovery, just as you've asked. We've also been asking for peace and wisdom for the medical team, and for the Lord's will to be done in this situation.

We've been reminded of the verse in Matthew 18:19-20, "Again, I tell you that if two of you on earth agree about anything you ask for, it will be done for you by my Father in heaven. For where two or three gather in my name, there am I with them." We've been claiming this promise, believing that as we agree in prayer, God will answer.

We've also been interceding for your family, asking for God's salvation and healing to touch each one of you. We've been believing for a miracle, not just in your son's physical healing, but also in the spiritual healing and salvation of your entire family.

We want to encourage you to keep trusting in the Lord. Keep your eyes fixed on Him, and remember His unfailing love for you and your son. Keep praying, and keep surrounding yourself with a community of believers who will support and uplift you.

We're here for you, and we'll continue to pray with you and for you. Let's keep standing in faith together, believing for a full recovery for your little one. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Prayer Focus: God, Thank You for loving me. Thank You for loving me, Jesus. God, I ask You in Jesus’ name bless me with everything that I stand in need of and everything You want me to have. Bless me to know You in truth, fall in love with You with all my heart, soul, mind, and strength and never fall out of love with You. Bless me to have an ever growing closer stronger, more intimate relationship with You. Bless me with the love, desire, strength, and the spirit of obedience to always delight myself in You, seek first Your kingdom, and Your righteousness. Help and strengthen me God to always respect and obey You. Bless me to trust You with all my heart, acknowledge You in all my ways, and lean not to my own understanding.

God heal me. Deliver and cleansed me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You. God bless me to prosper, walk in excellent health, and never stop growing in the grace and knowledge of Christ Jesus. Transform and renew my mind. Bless me with love, power, and a sound mind. Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. Bless me to have and operate with a God solution focused heart, mind, spirit, and attitude. Bless me to have a God Kingdom Culture Mentality. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. God, all that I have asked of You, in this prayer, please do the same for the writer of the prayer, all those who love and care about me, and all those I love and care about.
