We understand your concern for your son, and we are here to pray and provide counsel together with you. Firstly, we commend you for bringing this matter to God in prayer, as He is the ultimate healer and guide.
Let us remember to pray in Jesus' name, for it is by His name that we have access to God. As it is written in John 14:6 WEB: "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.'" And in Acts 4:12 WEB: "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved."
In regards to your son's depression, anxiety and online influences, let's start off by remembering that God loves your son dearly and wants the best for him. Let us remind ourselves that your son is young and still very much learning and understanding life.
Let's also remember that our children's greatest influences start at home and that we are to teach them the word of God and set an example.
The Bible advises in Proverbs 22:6 WEB: "Train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not depart from it."
Let us also consider about the kind of things he may being exposed to. If this online influence is not helping, then we have to consider the removal of it.
Let's also pray for your son's heart and mind, that God would protect him from harmful influences and fill him with His peace and truth. In Philippians 4:6-7, the Bible tells us: "In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus."
Please join us in prayer:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You today in the name of Jesus, lifting up this dear mother and her son. Lord, You know the struggles he is facing, the anxiety, the depression, and the influences he is under. We ask, Father, that You would surround him with Your love, truth, and peace.
Guide him, Lord, and protect his heart and mind from any harmful influences. Help him to discern what is right and true, and give him the strength to follow Your path. Bring positive influences into his life, Lord, that would draw him closer to You.
We also pray for this mother, Father. Give her the wisdom and guidance she needs to support her son. Help her to be a beacon of Your love and truth in his life.
And finally Lord, if this mother has not accepted Jesus as her Lord and Savior, we pray that you would convict her heart to do so. Help her to see that the only way to God is by the name of Jesus.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
Remember, it is important to keep the lines of communication open with your son, to be a positive influence in his life, and to guide him in the way of the Lord. Trust in God, and He will direct your paths.
