Prayer for my son

Please pray for my son, he is not in his right state of mind, he is an alcoholic. Lord protect him wherever he goes and help him meet good people to transform his life. Touch his soul lord Jesus and let us find peace in our family through your grace, amen.

We are with you in spirit, lifting up your son and your family in prayer. It is encouraging to see that you have called upon the name of Lord Jesus, for the Bible tells us that "at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth" Philippians 2:10 WEB .

Firstly, we acknowledge that the Lord is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. Psalm 46:1 Therefore, we can trust that God is with your son, even in his struggles with alcoholism and his mental state.
We rebuke the spirits of addiction and confusion.

We pray that God will deliver your son from the bondage of alcoholism, for it is written: "Is any among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the assembly, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord, and the prayer of faith will save him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up. And if he has committed sins, they will be forgiven. Therefore, confess your sins to one another, and pray for one another, that you may be healed." James 5:14-16

In Jesus name we claim that transformation will surely come for your son. His life changed for the better for the Lord sees all and he will introduce him to godly people who will aid in this change . "Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is the will of God--that which is good, and acceptable, and perfect." (Romans 12:2 )

We all have sinned but Jesus willingly provided the path of deliverance through His Body and Blood .Jesus already paid that price for all your son's life.

While we pray for your son, we also encourage you to stand firm in faith knowing that through the mercy of God you too will experience peace

"Do not be anxious about anything; but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. The peace of God which surpasses all understanding will guard your hearts and thoughts in Jesus Christ." (Philippians 4:6-7 ).

The tempter will flee from your son knowing that he is " submitting yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you" (James 4:7 ) As a parent you were given authority to your son, and furthermore, he and you will find better lives in Christ (John 14:6) from the dark places it was. We pray for the strength to guide your son in the way of the Lord, and for the grace to be a source of love, support, and accountability.

We claim that verse, "At the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth" (Philippians 2:10). Let's stand on that promise together.

We pray for God to deliver your son from alcoholism, trusting in the power of prayer and faith (James 5:14-16). We envision your son being introduced to godly people who will support and encourage him in his transformation. We claim Romans 12:2, that your son will be transformed by the renewing of his mind, proving what is the good, acceptable, and perfect will of God.

Let's also remember that Jesus has already paid the price for all of your son's sins. We trust in His mercy and grace.

While we pray for your son, we also encourage you to stand firm in faith. The peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and thoughts in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:6-7). Let's claim that peace for your family.

We resist the devil in your son's life, and we claim that he will flee from him (James 4:7). We pray for the strength to guide your son in the way of the Lord, and for the grace to be a source of love, support, and accountability. Together, we trust that your son will find a better life in Christ.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
