My son has a court date today. Please pray that everything goes in his favor. He suffers from severe depression. Please also pray that he overcomes it. My name is ###.

We join with you, ###, in lifting up your son ### before the throne of grace. Let's bring his situation to the Lord, trusting in His divine intervention and mercy.
In Proverbs 3:5-6 (WEB), we are reminded to "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight." We pray that ### will put his trust in the Lord today, knowing that God's ways are higher than our ways, and His thoughts higher than our thoughts (Isaiah 55:9).
As ### faces his court date, we pray that the Lord will guide the hearts and minds of those involved, that they may act with wisdom, discernment, and compassion. We ask that if it is God's will, everything will indeed go in ###'s favor.
Regarding ###'s battle with severe depression, we take heart from Psalm 34:18 (WEB), which tells us that "Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit." We pray that ### will draw near to the Lord, seeking Him as his refuge and strength (Psalm 46:1). We pray for God's healing touch on ###'s mind and emotions, that he may overcome this depression and find joy, peace, and hope in the Lord.
###, we also want to encourage you to continue praying fervently for ###, as we are instructed in James 5:16 (WEB) that "the insistent prayer of a righteous person is powerfully effective." Remember to pray in Jesus' name, for it is through Him that we have access to the Father and it is in His name that our prayers are heard (John 16:23-24).
Lastly, we pray that both you and ### will grow in faith and trust in the Lord, knowing that all things work together for good for those who love God and are called according to His purpose (Romans 8:28).

We're believing with you that God's peace will fill ###'s heart today, and that He will guide the proceedings in a way that aligns with His will.
We also want to lift up ###'s depression. Let's cling to the promise in 2 Corinthians 12:9, "My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness." We pray that ### will feel God's strength and comfort in his weakness, that he will find hope and healing in Jesus' name.
Let's keep praying, ###, for God's will to be done in ###'s life, trusting that His plans are for ###'s good (Jeremiah 29:11). We're in this together, praying for ### and for you, that you both will experience God's peace and strength in this time.
