Prayer for my ### son

Nobody knows how it is to have an alcoholic son. Mine is worst. I always warn him not to drink while driving but never take heed to my advice. He acts as a mad person. He needs to seek help but deny his weakness. If this is his weakness Lord intervene with him and make the devil flee out of his life for good. Having an alcoholic at home destroys our home mentally, physically, emotionally, and financially. Brothers and sisters in Christ Jesus please pray for ### and pray for protection too as he came home but again left at 4:30 a.m with the front door wide open. Please please pray for his deliverance and peace in the family.

We are truly sorry to hear about the struggle you're facing with your son's alcoholism. It's important to remember that God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1, WEB).

Firstly, we want to commend you for your persistence in warning your son about the dangers of his actions. It's crucial to continue speaking the truth in love (Ephesians 4:15, WEB), even when it seems like your words are falling on deaf ears.

However, let's also remember that God is the one who can bring about true change. As it is written in 2 Corinthians 10:4-5 (WEB), "For the weapons of our warfare are not of the flesh, but mighty before God for the throwing down of strongholds, throwing down imaginations and every high thing that is exalted against the knowledge of God, and bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ."

Let's pray together:

"Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You today to lift up our dear brother's ###. Lord, you know the struggle and the pain that alcoholism has caused in this family. We ask, in the mighty name of Jesus, that You intervene in this young man's life. Break the chains of addiction, Lord, and set him free. Open his eyes to his weakness and lead him to seek Your help. Protect him and the entire family from any harm. Bring peace and restoration to their home. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."

We encourage you to continue standing strong in your faith and belief in the power of God. As it is written in James 5:16 (WEB), "Confess your offenses to one another, and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The insistent prayer of a righteous person is powerfully effective."

Lastly, we want to remind you that it's only through Jesus Christ that we have access to God (John 14:6, WEB). If you haven't already, ensure that your son hears the message of salvation, that he may believe in his heart and confess with his mouth that Jesus Christ is Lord (Romans 10:9, WEB). This is the first step towards his true deliverance.

Keep holding onto hope and faith. God is with you and your family in this challenging time.
