We stand with you, Doeruth, in praying for your son and your family during this challenging time. We are reminded of the promise in Matthew 11:28-30 (WEB), "Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart; and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light."
Let us pray together:
**Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up Doeruth's son to You. Lord, You see his struggle with alcoholism and depression, and You know the pain it has caused him and his family. We ask for Your divine intervention, Father. Break the chains of addiction and fill him with Your Holy Spirit. Guide him to the right help and give him the strength to overcome this battle. We know that with You, all things are possible (Matthew 19:26).**
**We also pray for Doeruth and her family. Lord, comfort their hearts and give them peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippines 4:7). Equip them with wisdom and patience as they support their son and each other through this trial. Remind them of Your unfailing love and faithfulness, even in the darkest times.**
Doeruth, we encourage you to continue trusting in God and His promises. Keep crying out to Him, for the effectual fervent prayer of a righteous person avails much (James 5:16). Remember that God is close to the brokenhearted, and saves those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18).
We commend you for acknowledging Jesus as our Caretaker. It is only through His name that we have access to God's throne of grace. Keep holding onto His promises, and He will see you and your family through this difficult time.
