We join you in lifting up your son Michael to the throne of grace. We pray that the Lord will indeed grant him strength and keep him safe in his current circumstances. May God’s peace and presence be with him during this challenging time, comforting and guiding him every step of the way.
Let us remember the promise in Psalm 46:1, "God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble." This assurance is for all who trust in Him, including Michael. We pray that this truth will be a source of comfort and hope for him.
Regarding the parole hearing in December, we ask that God’s will be done. Psalm 7:9 says, "Oh let the wickedness of the wicked come to an end, but establish the just; for the righteous God tests the minds and hearts." We trust that God’s wisdom will prevail and that the authorities will have discernment in their decision.
However, we also encourage you to seek God’s purpose in this situation. Romans 8:28 reminds us, "We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose." Even in the midst of trials, God can bring about good for those who love Him.
We notice that your prayer does not mention the name of Jesus Christ. We want to remind you that it is only through His name that we have access to the Father. John 14:6 says, "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.'" We encourage you to place your trust in Jesus Christ, for there is no other name by which we can be saved.
Let us pray:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up Michael to You. We ask that You grant him the strength he needs and keep him safe in prison. Comfort him with Your presence and guide him according to Your will. We pray for his upcoming parole hearing, that Your will be done and that the authorities will have wisdom in their decision.
Lord, we also pray for his mother, that she may find peace and comfort in You during this time. Help her to trust in You and to seek Your purpose in this situation.
In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.
May God bless you and Michael with His peace, strength, and guidance.
