Prayer for my son ### who wants ...

Prayer for my son ### who wants to go to ### to compete with his team. Top 12 go and he is ###th. They accidently called him and said he was going then 2 days later called back and said it was a mistake. Praying favor over ### and that if it’s God’s will then he will get to go. He is heart broken over this.

Heavenly Father, we come before You with heavy hearts, lifting up ### in prayer. Your Word tells us in Jeremiah 29:11, "For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans for welfare and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope." Lord, we trust in Your perfect plan for ###'s life, even when it is hard to understand.

Lord, ### has faced disappointment and heartbreak, but we know that You are close to the brokenhearted and save those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18). We ask that You wrap ### in Your comforting arms, giving him peace and reassurance during this challenging time.

Father, we pray for favor over ###. If it is Your will, we ask that an opportunity arises for him to join his team in ###. We know that You are a God who opens doors that no one can shut (Revelation 3:8). We pray that if this is part of Your divine plan, You will make a way for ### to go.

In the meantime, Lord, we ask that You help ### to trust in You with all his heart and lean not on his own understanding (Proverbs 3:5-6). May he acknowledge You in all his ways, and may You make his paths straight. Give him strength and courage to face this disappointment, and help him to find hope and joy in You, regardless of the outcome.

We pray all these things in the precious name of Jesus, Amen.
