Thank you, thank you. May God's name be glorifiedWe join with you, Iarsabon, in lifting up your precious son before the throne of grace. Let us come boldly to seek the Lord's mercy and find grace to help in this time of need (Hebrews 4:16).
Firstly, we want to remind you that God loves your son deeply and has a wonderful plan for his life. As it is written in Jeremiah 29:11, "For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says Yahweh, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future." We claim this promise for your son, trusting that the Lord's thoughts toward him are of good and not of evil, to give him hope and a future.
We pray, dear Father in heaven, for this beloved 15-year-old young man. You know him by name, Lord, and you know the struggles he faces due to autism. We ask for Your healing touch upon him, that You would restore his mind and body according to Your perfect will. We trust that You are able to do far more abundantly than all that we ask or think (Ephesians 3:20).
As he prepares to return to school in three weeks, we pray for a smooth transition. May Your peace that surpasses all understanding guard his heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). Help him to settle in quickly and find favor with his teachers and fellow students. Give him the grace to flourish in his studies, to grow in wisdom and stature, and in favor with God and man (Luke 2:52).
We also pray for you, Iarsabon, that God would grant you the strength and wisdom to support your son in this journey. May you be filled with the knowledge of His will in all wisdom and spiritual understanding, so that you may walk worthy of the Lord, fully pleasing to Him, being fruitful in every good work, and increasing in the knowledge of God (Colossians 1:9-10).
Lastly, we want to encourage you to continue trusting in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will make your paths straight (Proverbs 3:5-6). Keep praying fervently, for the effective prayer of a righteous person accomplishes much (James 5:16).
We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. It is only through Him that we have access to the Father (John 14:6), and there is no other name under heaven that has been given among men by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). Amen.
