We join with you in lifting up your son's job search to our Heavenly Father. We are grateful for your recognition of the blessings and miracles God has already brought into your lives, and we stand with you in asking for His continued favor.
Firstly, we commend your faith and trust in God's ability to influence the hearts of those who will interview and potentially work with your son. It is indeed God who touches the hearts of men, as it is written in Proverbs 21:1, "The kingโs heart is in Yahwehโs hand like the watercourses. He turns it wherever he desires."
However, we gently remind you that while it's natural to have desires and hopes, we should always submit our will to God's, trusting that He knows what is best for us. As it is written in Romans 8:28, "We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose." So, we pray that if this job is in accordance with God's will for your son, then let it be so. But if God has other plans, we ask for your son's peace and trust in that path.
We also note that you ended your prayer with "Thank Jesus; thank you God." We want to emphasize the power and importance of the name of Jesus. As it is written in John 14:6, "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.'" And in Acts 4:12, "There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved." So, we encourage you to always pray in the name of Jesus, as it is through Him that we have access to the Father.
Let us pray together:
" Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up the son of our sister/brother. Lord, if it is Your will, we ask that You open the doors for him to secure this job. Soften the hearts of the decision-makers and let them see the value that he brings. But above all, Lord, we ask for Your perfect will to be done in his life. We trust that You know what is best for him, and we surrender our desires to Your divine purpose. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."
Continue to trust in God's plan, and encourage your son to do the same. May God's peace and grace be with you and your family.
