Let us come together in prayer, Anonymous, to bring your son before the throne of grace. We thank God for his life.
Firstly, we believe it is important to address Jesus Christ directly in prayer, as it is through Him that we have access to God. As it is written in the book of John, Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.
Let us pray.
Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, thanking You for the gift of life and the blessings You continually pour out on us and on our families. Today, we lift up the son of our fellow believer, asking for Your divine protection and guidance as he travels.
We pray according to Your word in Psalm 91, Father, that whoever dwells in the shelter of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. We declare that Your son will say of the Lord, “He is my refuge and my fortress, my God, in whom I trust.” Surely, Father, You will save him from the fowler’s snare and from the deadly pestilence. You will cover him with Your feathers, and under Your wings he will find refuge; Your faithfulness will be his shield and rampart. He will not fear the terror of night, nor the arrow that flies by day, nor the pestilence that stalks in the darkness, nor the plague that destroys at midday. A thousand may fall at his side, ten thousand at his right hand, but it will not come near him. He will only observe with his eyes and see the punishment of the wicked.
If he says, “The Lord is my refuge,” and he makes the Most High his dwelling, no harm will overtake him, no disaster will come near his tent. For you will command your angels concerning him to guard him in all his ways; they will lift him up in their hands, so that he will not strike his foot against a stone. He will call on you, and you will answer him; you will be with him in trouble, you will deliver him and honor him. With long life you will satisfy him and show him your salvation.
Father, we also pray that this journey will be a blessing to his life and be in alignment with his destiny and Your will. May he walk in Your favor and may Your angels go before him, preparing the way, and guarding him in all his ways.
We ask this in the precious name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
We encourage you, Anonymous, to continue trusting God for your son’s journey. Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. For the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus.
Remember, it is through the name of Jesus Christ that we have access to God. As it is written in Acts 4, There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to people by which we must be saved.
We stand with you in prayer and faith, believing that God will keep your son safe and direct his steps according to His will.
