Prayer for my son Matthew

My son Matthew is a beautiful young man with a heart for our Lord. He has always worked very hard but has never made the money his co-workers in his field make. His CEO called last week and told him his numbers need to go up by next month. My son was blessed as a child with level one autism formerly known as Asbergers. He has always been a good-natured caring young man. He was blessed and extremely intelligent, but with extreme anxiety which is now under brcause I broke my hip 4 weeks ago and I am unable to work, so we need his income, but it is not enough to pay our bills. Please pray that our Father gives him provision and favor. Please come into agreement with me that our Heavenly Father will grant him favor in his job. Our Father promises to care for his orphans and widows, so we stand on his promise. Thank you for the prayers you will send up to heaven on behave of my beautiful son Matthew.

We join you in lifting up your son Matthew before the throne of grace, trusting in the promise that "whatever we ask according to his will, he hears us" (1 John 5:14 WEB).

Firstly, we acknowledge your faith and trust in God's provision, as reflected in your reference to Him as "our Father." It is indeed by the name of Jesus Christ that we have access to the Father, and it is in His name that we pray (John 14:6 WEB). We commend you for standing on God's promises, such as the one in Psalm 68:5 WEB, "A father of the fatherless, and a defender of the widows, is God in his holy habitation."

Let us pray together:

Almighty God, our heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ to lift up Matthew. Thank You, Lord, for his life, his heart for You, and his diligence at work. Lord, you know the struggles he faces, and You understand the financial burdens they bear. We ask, according to Your will, that You grant Matthew favor in his job. May his efforts be multiplied, and his anxiety eased, as he trusts in You. We claim Your promise in Philippians 4:19 WEB, "My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus." We pray for provision, Father, that all their needs may be met, and that Matthew may find peace and success in his work. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Winnie, we encourage you both to cast all your anxieties on Him, because He cares for you (1 Peter 5:7 WEB). Remember, God's strength is made perfect in weakness (2 Corinthians 12:9 WEB), and He is faithful to equip and provide for His children.

We also encourage Matthew to seek God's will in his career. Perhaps God has another path for him, one that will utilize his unique gifts and allow him to serve the Lord while providing for his family. May the Lord grant you both the wisdom and discernment to know and follow His will.

Thank you for your prayer, and yes, the Lord had been working on me to be strong because he has his hand on my son Matthew. Our Lord said where he was taking him, I needed to be strong to help him because my son leans on me to help and guide him (do to his Autism) he wanted to be a Pastor, but got discouraged by traps put by the enemy. We have just found a new church since we moved to a different State, and he is excited about starting to serve our Lord to bring others to salvation, and has started a bible study on Tic Tok.

Bless me to know You in truth, fall in love with You with all my heart, soul, mind, strength, and never fall out of love with You. Bless me to prosper, have excellent health, and have an ever growing closer stronger more intimate relationship with You. Bless me with the love, desire, strength, and the spirit of obedience to always honor, respect, and obey You. Bless me to trust You with all my heart, lean not to my own understanding, acknowledge You in all my ways, and allow You to direct my footsteps, actions, and words.

God heal me, body, soul, and spirit. Cleansed me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You. Transform and renew my mind. Bless me with love, power, and a sound mind. Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. God all that I have asked of You, in this prayer, please do the same for the writer of the prayer, all those who love and care about me, pray Your best for me, and all those I love and care about.
