Heavenly Father, we come before you in the name of Jesus, lifting up Derek to you. We pray for your divine intervention and healing touch upon his body as he battles with Leukemia Cancer. Lord, we know that you are the ultimate healer and nothing is impossible for you. We ask that you would bring comfort, strength, and peace to Derek during this difficult time in the ICU hospital. Surround him with your love and presence, and grant wisdom and skill to the medical team caring for him. We also pray for Monique, his loved one, that you would provide her with strength and peace as she supports Derek. Help her to trust in your plan and to find solace in your presence. Lord, we are reminded in your Word that you are near to the brokenhearted and that you care for those who are sick. We claim your promises of healing and restoration for Derek, knowing that you are able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think. We commit Derek into your hands, surrendering to your perfect will and trusting in your divine plan. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
