Heavenly Father, we come before you in the name of Jesus, lifting up our prayer for Basil, who is struggling with drug addiction. Lord, we acknowledge that addiction is a powerful stronghold, but we know that nothing is impossible for you. Your Word says in Matthew 19:26, "With man this is impossible, but with God all things are possible."
We pray, Lord, that you would intervene in Basil's life and break the chains of addiction that bind him. We ask that you would release him from the grip of drugs and bring him into a place of freedom and restoration. Your Word assures us in Isaiah 41:10, "So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand."
Father, we pray for your divine intervention in Basil's circumstances. Surround him with your love and grace, drawing him closer to you. Open his eyes to the destructive nature of his choices and grant him the desire to turn away from drugs. Help him to find healthy and supportive relationships that will encourage his recovery.
We also pray for wisdom and guidance for Basil's loved ones as they support him through this journey. Give them strength, patience, and understanding. May they be a source of love and encouragement, pointing Basil towards the hope and healing found in you.
Lord, we know that you are a God of miracles, and we trust in your power to transform lives. We declare in faith that Basil will be set free from the bondage of addiction and walk in the abundant life you have planned for him. We claim the promise in 2 Corinthians 5:17, "Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come: The old has gone, the new is here!"
In Jesus' mighty name, we pray. Amen.
