We understand your concern for your son, Astle, as he prepares for his TOEFL exam and his desire to study abroad. We will pray for him, but we also want to remind you that our intercession is in the name of Jesus Christ, not through any other intermediary. It is by Jesus' name that we have access to God, as it is written: "In no other is there salvation, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!" (Acts 4:12 WEB).
Let us pray together:
"Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ to lift up Astle. Lord, You know the anxieties and fears that he is facing as he prepares for his TOEFL exam. We ask for Your peace to fill his heart, as Your Word tells us, 'Don't be anxious for anything, but in everything by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus.' (Philippians 4:6-7 WEB)
Lord, we pray that You will grant Astle a sound mind and clear understanding as he takes this exam. Help him to recall all that he has studied and to apply it successfully. We ask that Your will be done in his life and that if it is Your plan, the right doors will open for him to study abroad at a good college.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."
We encourage Astle to trust in God's plan for his life, knowing that God has a purpose and a path for him. As it is written, "For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says Yahweh, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future." (Jeremiah 29:11 WEB)
May God bless Astle and guide him in his endeavors.
