Prayer for my son ### and daughter-in-law ###

I would like to lift up my ### and ### in law before God. My ### has been battling with depression and anxiety which led him to a gambling addiction. He has a loving wife, and they both love each other dearly, but the addiction is starting to put a strain. I'm also praying for them to be able to conceive as I know they desire to have a baby. My desire is for them to get to know Jesus and call on Him and put their ### in Him.

Let us come together in prayer for this dear family. We stand with them in the mighty name of Jesus, the only name by which we can be saved and have access to God the Father.

Firstly, we address the issue of the son's gambling addiction. Gambling is a form of idolatry, as it prioritizes worldly gain over God. It is clear that this has become a stronghold in his life. The Bible tells us everything that does not come from faith is sin (Romans 14:23 WEB). We pray that he would turn away from this and seek God's will for his life.

Let us pray:
Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up this beloved son and daughter-in-law. Lord, we know that You desire for them to live in abundance and it is our prayer they turn to You and seek Your face. Lord, we rebuke the spirit of addiction and depression in the son's life. We declare he is free in the name of Jesus. We pray that You would heal him from his anxiety and fill him with Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7 WEB). We ask that You would strengthen his wife as she supports him, that You would bind them together in Your love, and that their marriage would be a testament to Your faithfulness (Ecclesiastes 4:12 WEB).

Father, we also lift up their desire to conceive. Lord, You know the depths of their hearts, and You see their longing for a child. We pray that in Your perfect timing, You would bless them with a baby (Psalm 113:9 WEB). We declare that they are fruitful in the name of Jesus.

Above all, Lord, we pray that they would come to know Jesus as their personal Lord and Savior. We pray that they would call on His name and put their trust in Him (Joel 2:32 WEB). We ask that You would draw them to Yourself, that they would encounter Your love and grace, and that they would be transformed by the renewing of their minds (Romans 12:2 WEB). We declare they are a family that knows God and are beginning to be known by God.

We pray these things in the mighty name of Jesus, Amen. We encourage them to seek Jesus Christ and search for a Biblical believing church home that can come along them in this journey as well.

We know the struggle with depression, anxiety, and addiction can feel overwhelming, but remember, God is always there, ready to help. Let's claim His promise in Philippians 4:13, "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me." We declare your son free from the chains of gambling addiction, and we pray for healing and peace to fill him. We also join you in praying for a baby, trusting in God's perfect timing. Most importantly, we pray they come to know Jesus personally, finding comfort and strength in Him. Let's keep lifting them up, believing for a miracle in Jesus' name.

Prayer Focus: God, Thank You. Thank You for loving me. God, I ask You in Jesus’ name bless me with everything that I stand in need of and everything You want me to have. Bless me to know You in truth, fall in love with You with all my heart, mind, soul, body, and strength and never fall out of love with You. Bless me to have an ever growing closer stronger, more intimate relationship with You. Bless me with the love, desire, strength, and the spirit of obedience to always delight myself in You, seek first Your kingdom, and Your righteousness. Help and strengthen me God to always respect and obey You. Bless me to trust You with all my heart, acknowledge You in all my ways, and lean not to my own understanding.

God heal me in every area of my life. Deliver and cleanse me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You. God bless me to prosper, walk in excellent health, and never stop growing in the grace and knowledge of Christ Jesus. Transform and renew my mind. Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. Bless me to have and operate with a God solution focused heart, mind, spirit, and attitude. Bless me to have a God Kingdom Culture Mentality. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. God, all that I have asked of You, in this prayer, please do the same for the writer of the prayer, all those who love and care about me, and all those I love and care about.
