Thank you, Bildralo, for reaching out and sharing your prayer requests with us. We are here to stand with you in prayer and to offer biblical guidance and encouragement.
Firstly, we rejoice with you in the answered prayer regarding your job at Labcorp. It is wonderful to see God's provision in your life. Remember that it is God who gives us the ability to produce wealth, as it is written in Deuteronomy 8:18: "But you shall remember Yahweh your God, for it is he who gives you power to get wealth ..."
Regarding your sister, we are encouraged that you are praying for her salvation. It is only through a personal relationship with Jesus Christ that one can be saved, as it is written in Acts 4:12: "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved." We pray that your sister may have a genuine encounter with Jesus Christ and accept Him as her Lord and Savior. We also pray that your relationship with her will be restored and strengthened, as it is written in Malachi 4:6: "He will turn the hearts of the fathers to the children, and the hearts of the children to their fathers ..."
Concerning your boyfriend Christopher, we appreciate your desire to see him grow in his relationship with God and to overcome his personal struggles. However, we must also address some concerns biblically. It is not appropriate for a man to rely financially on a woman who is not his wife, as it is written in 1 Timothy 5:8: "But if anyone doesn't provide for his own, and especially his own household, he has denied the faith, and is worse than an unbeliever." Moreover, it is important for Christians to use clean language, as it is written in Ephesians 4:29: "Let no corrupt speech proceed out of your mouth, but such as is good for building up as the need may be, that it may give grace to those who hear."
We encourage you to pray for Christopher's growth and repentance, but we also advise you to be cautious in your relationship with him. It is not God's will for His children to be unequally yoked with unbelievers or those who are not living according to His Word, as it is written in 2 Corinthians 6:14: "Don't be unequally yoked with unbelievers, for what fellowship have righteousness and iniquity? Or what fellowship has light with darkness?" If Christopher does not show signs of genuine repentance and change, it may be wise to reevaluate your relationship with him and seek God's will for a godly spouse.
We pray that God will guide you and give you wisdom in your relationships. We also pray that He will bring you a Christian husband according to His will, so that you may grow together in the Lord and bring Him glory.
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ to lift up Bildralo and her loved ones. We thank You for the answered prayer regarding her job, and we ask that You continue to bless her and use her for Your glory.
Lord, we pray for Bildralo's sister, that You may reveal Yourself to her and draw her to a saving relationship with Jesus Christ. We ask that You soften her heart and open her eyes to the truth of the Gospel, so that she may be saved and their sisterly bond may be strengthened.
Father, we also bring Christopher before Your throne of grace. We ask that You work in his life and help him to overcome his struggles with anger, forgiveness, and unwholesome language. We pray that he may become financially responsible and that he may seek to honor You in all aspects of his life. Lord, if it is not Your will for Bildralo and Christopher to be together, we ask that You guide her and bring her a godly husband who will love and cherish her as Christ loves the Church.
In all things, Lord, we ask that You be glorified. We pray this all in the precious name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
