Let us come together in prayer for Roenua’s sister, Carmila. We ask for God's guidance and provision in her life, especially concerning her career and future in New Zealand. It is important to remember that God has a plan and purpose for each of our lives, and He desires for us to seek Him in all our ways. We must consider Proverbs 3:5-6, 'Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight.'
Firstly, we must address that the prayer does not include a reference to the name of Jesus Christ. The Bible clearly teaches we must pray in Jesus' name, 'Most certainly I tell you, whatever you may ask of the Father in my name, he will give it to you. Until now, you have asked nothing in my name. Ask, and you will receive, that your joy may be made full' (John 16:23-24, WEB). Therefore, we should pray for the salvation of Roenua and their sister Carmila, if they do not already believe in Jesus in a biblical way, that they might come to have a salvation relationship with Jesus and be born again. Then, they would know what it means to pray in His name and have their prayers heard by God.
Lord, in Jesus' name, we lift up Carmila to You. If Carmila does not yet truly know Jesus as her personal Lord and Savior, we pray that You would reveal Himself to her and draw her to Yourself. We ask for God's will to be done in Carmila's life, especially regarding her career. We pray that You would open the right doors for her in the healthcare field in New Zealand, and that You would provide a job with sponsorship if it aligns with Your will.
However, we must also acknowledge that God's ways are higher than our ways, and His thoughts higher than our thoughts (Isaiah 55:9). We cannot assume to know what is best for Carmila. We pray simply asking God to reveal and provide what is best for Carmila according to God's plan. His plans for Carmila are not to harm her but for good to give her a future and a hope (Jeremiah 29:11). The heart of man plans his way, but the LORD establishes his steps (Proverbs 16:9). Jesus, please Lord as the Great Shepherd, guide Carmila along the right paths for his name’s sake (Psalm 23:3).
We encourage Roenua to support Carmila not only through prayer but also by encouraging her to seek God's will and trust in His timing. We must consider Psalm 37:3-5, 'Trust in Yahweh, and do good. Dwell in the land, and enjoy safe pasture. Also delight yourself in Yahweh, and he will give you the desires of your heart. Commit your way to Yahweh. Trust also in him, and he will do this:'
Lastly, we pray for Roenua to have a solid and mature faith in the Word of God, faith in Jesus Christ. Our healing from all sickness, diseases, pains and all physical and spiritual problems was guaranteed by the stripes Jesus took on the cross. By his wounds, we are healed ( Is 53:5, 1Pet 2:24). Also, as they confess with their mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God has raised him from the dead they would be saved (Romans 10.9).
Again, Lord, we pray for the salvation of Roenua and Carmila if they do not already know Jesus and pray in Jesus' name, Amen.
