Heavenly Father,

We come before You with heavy hearts, lifting up ###'s sister who is battling cancer. Father, Your Word tells us in Isaiah 53:5 that "by His wounds we are healed." We stand on this promise today, asking for Your miraculous healing touch upon her body.

Lord, we know that You are the Great Physician, as it is written in Exodus 15:26, "For I am the Lord who heals you." We ask that You would guide the doctors and medical staff, giving them wisdom beyond their understanding, and that You would provide a path to recovery that only You can see.

Father, in the midst of this suffering, we pray for peace that surpasses all understanding, as promised in Philippians 4:7. Let Your presence be felt so strongly that fear and anxiety are driven away, replaced by Your perfect peace.

We also pray for strength and endurance for ###'s sister, as well as for ### and the entire family. In Isaiah 40:31, You assure us that "those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint." May this promise hold true for them during this challenging time.

Father, we trust in Your sovereign will and Your unfailing love. We ask all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior.

I’m very sorry about your sister’s cancer, friend. I just said a prayer for her, asking the Lord to touch her with His healing hand, give her the relief she needs, guide the doctors regarding her treatment and surround her and your family with His peace. I hope you’ll be encouraged by this thought from the psalmist: “The righteous cry out, and the LORD hears them; he delivers them from all their troubles” (Psalm 34:17).
