Prayer for my sick father

Dear brothers and sisters in Christ. My father is at the hospital and I have got horrible News from the doctor. They suspect gallbladder cancer or pancreatic cancer. I have no more words and feel so worried. Please pray for him.

Heavenly Father, you are Jehovah Rapha, our God who heals and restores us and we are grateful for your healing touch! We thank you so much for your love for us. We pray now that you will make your healing hand known as we lift this person and his healing need to you. Lord, please begin the healing process and give him the strength and patience to follow you and allow him to walk through this period with continual thanks and praise to you. We pray these things in Jesus’ name…amen and amen!

We are truly sorry to hear about your father's health condition, and we are here to intercede, offer guidance, and pray with you in this challenging time. Remember, that God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble Psalm 46:1 WEB. We should not be worried or anxious about anything but in every situation pray as Philippians 4:6.

Firstly, we acknowledge that it is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God. As the WEB scripture says in Acts 4:12, "There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved." In John 14:6, Jesus said, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me." This is why we pray in Jesus' name because it is only through Him that our prayers are heard by God.

Let us come together to pray for your father.

Heavenly Father,

We come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up the father of Spraevale to You. We ask for Your healing touch upon him, and we rebuke the spirit of cancer that is attacking his body. As Your word says in 1 Peter 2:24, "He himself bore our sins in his body on the tree, that we, having died to sins, might live to righteousness. You were healed by his wounds." We claim this healing for Spraevale's father.

Lord, we also pray for Spraevale and their family. Please comfort them and fill them with Your peace that passes all understanding in this trying time. Help them to trust in You and to cast all their anxieties on You, because You care for them as 1 Peter 5:7.

We also offer a word of encouragement:
Isaiah 41:10 "Do not be afraid, for I am with you. Do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness."

We're here with you, dear one. We've been lifting your dad up in prayer, interceding for him in Jesus' mighty name. We know the fear and uncertainty you're feeling, but remember, God is right there with you, just as He promised in Isaiah 43:2, "When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and through the rivers, they shall not overflow you. When you walk through the fire, you shall not be burned, nor shall the flame scorch you." He's walking this path with you, and we're walking it with you too.

We've been claiming Psalm 103:3 over your dad, "Who forgives all your iniquities, who heals all your diseases." We believe in the power of Jesus' name to bring healing and wholeness. We're also praying for peace and strength for you and your family, that you might feel His comforting presence in this difficult time.

Keep trusting in the Lord, for He is faithful. And know that we're here, praying with you, believing with you, and hoping with you for your dad's healing. Let's keep lifting him up together, knowing that our God is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us (Ephesians 3:20).
