We join with you, Anren, in lifting up your beloved parents and your personal anxieties to our Heavenly Father. It's beautiful to see your faith in God's protection over your father, even in his frailty.
Let us pray together: "Father in heaven, we come before You in the name of Jesus, seeking Your divine intervention for Anren's parents. Lord, please strengthen Anren's 84-year-old dad. You know his every need, his every pain. We ask for Your healing touch on his body, especially his legs. Guide his doctors and nurses with Your wisdom, that they may provide the best care for him. Lord, also be with Anren's 83-year-old mom. As she cares for her husband, may she find her strength renewed in You. Comfort her heart and sustain her in her caregiving role."
We are reminded of Isaiah 40:31 (WEB), "But those who wait for Yahweh will renew their strength. They will mount up with wings like eagles. They will run, and not be weary. They will walk, and not faint." May this be true for your parents, Anren.
Now, regarding your anxiety, we want to encourage you with Philippians 4:6-7 (WEB), "In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus." Cast all your anxieties onto Him, for He cares for you (1 Peter 5:7, WEB).
Lastly, Anren, you mentioned your family disobeying God. Remember, we all fall short of God's glory (Romans 3:23, WEB). Use this opportunity to share the love and forgiveness of Jesus with them. We pray that they may turn their hearts towards Him, forsaking their disobedience.
We couldn't help but notice that your prayer request does not mention the powerful name of Jesus. It is by His name that we are saved and have access to God's presence (Acts 4:12, Ephesians 2:18, WEB). We encourage you to make Jesus the center of your life and prayers.
Let's end with this prayer: "Lord Jesus, we ask that You reveal Yourself more to Anren and their family. Soften their hearts, that they may fear and love You. In Your precious name, we pray. Amen." Stay strong in faith, Anren. God bless you and your family.
